Post subject:  Ash: Old voice or New?
Do you like Ash's new voice or did you prefer his younger voice? I liked Ash's younger voice, to me it made him sound MORE like a determined young trainer. I don't know, it just sounded better and because of the fact his new voice sounds raspy and dumb.

His new voice sounds more girl'ish than before, its supposed to be the other way around.

Plus i absolutly HATE dawns voice and brocks, really i could do better voices than the 3 of them, :D

Old voice rules! Veronica Taylor made ash who he is, ya know?
It will always be better than the new voice.

Now, the new voice of Ash sounds too much like Richie... like, if he had a bit of a cold... and a slight new york accent...

Tru things are starting to get a little off-topic but you cant really h8 on Dawn cuz she's still only on her first voice :P
She isnt old enough to have a 2nd voice like everyone else.
Either way, i think it's safe to say
Old voice cast = uber
New voice cast = goober

Cept for new characters who are on their first voices... those people have a chance cuz they got no one else to live up to! :wink:

It's still not the same. I mean just watch the episode in the Orange Islands series where he meets Lorielli... Its was hilarious how he was demanding a battle.

I was over my friend's house and he was channel checking and we came across Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (or whatever it's called. I probably butchered the name). Ash's new voice makes small children cry (and I think Lucario sounded like a creepy 40 year old pedophile, but that's just me). Ash's old voice was way better.

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was Veronica Taylor's very last performance on Pokemon, and she was fantastic. One of her best performances while doing the show. :|

I also don't know why you're calling them the "young" and "old" voices of Ash. They don't sound like young or old, it's just an old voice and a new voice.

And this topic is pretty stupid. Some of the new VAs are good enough where it would be sensible to make a poll asking which you like better. Personally, I like James', Harley's, and Drew's new voices better than the old ones. But Ash...I don't know of a single person who would choose Natochenny over Taylor. But she is getting better though, she's certainly improving.

Ash's old voice is so much better! After I watched some of the first season I turned on the TV went to TV guide and it sayed Pokemon: Diamond anad Pearl was on Cartoon Network. So I flip to CN, and then when ash speaks I'm like "Ash WTF happend to yur voice?!!1" lol anyway I much prefer the old voice for some odd reason.
