I have 857. I sat there one day, and just counted every single one. I have acquired this many Pokemon cards over years of collecting. Every yard sale I went to, if there were pokemon cards, i bought them. I once went to a yard sale and found a whole Ziploc bag full of them. I have them separated by type. |

I have a large box full and 4 2" 3 ring binders which have 75-100 18 slot card holders a piece with 15-20 cards a slot. i started collecting when i was around 7 in 1999 and have collected since. i have every card 1-250 besides moltres and belossom, im missing quite a few from 251-493 but i have them all in order. my parents have spent a ridiculous amount on my collection and i dont understand why they still buy them for me |

I don't like to necromance, but this thred has to be revived. I just hit the 1000 mark yesterday. I think i have 1004 or something. It only took me 9 years. |

My brother and I used to be obsessed over collecting them when we were younger; We started in third grade, and I stopped caring around freshman year, I think around that set that reintroduced Ho-oh and Lugia after the Deoxys set; Hidden Legends or something. My last count was almost 3000, but I can't remember for sure. I know I was able to pile them all up in a corner and the stack was about six inches taller than my, then, 6'1'' brother. We tried to sell most of them on eBay, but they never took, and then I went and accidentally spilt some hot chocolate on a good number of them, so they've been sitting, untouched in a box for a few years. Luckily, those were the duplicates. I don't know what I've have done it I ruined one of the completed sets; John saved up so much for that Charizard... *shudder* He was not happy about that mishap. |
