Ok, one thing I've been wondering about in the later versions of games (mainly RSE and PD, the games where when you look at the moves a pokémon knows you can see the power of each move) is that is there a slight difference in power of a move learnt naturally and a move learnt by TM?

I remember that in RBY a move learnt by TM was weaker than one learnt naturally, but I don't know if this is the case in the more advanced games...

I dont believe there is a difference. What source told you they were weaker in RBY?

You might be talking about the same type attack bonus, or STAB.

increases an attacks power if its the same type as the move, EG dugtrio uses earthquake, Base Power 100, becomes 150. Teach a gyarados earthquake and without the STAB it will only do 100.

It's actually better to use TMs because the strongest and most useful moves can't be learned naturally most of the time. Ex: Fly. Where would we be w/o it?

No, I found out it was purple. ugh. (no offense purple luvers(Im lookin at you Krisp)) I like the blue ones better. Dialga has a slightly bluer tint though (I looked it up this time) so maybe I can trade it for a normal dialga and a shiny kyogre, they can be cloned (easierlyishest).
