I think it is rather good, but personally I still prefer pure Grass types than the Poison/Grass hybrids, because Poison has too many weaknesses. I've never used it before except way back in Red or Blue (sorry but I can't remember) when I used its Sleep Powder (and numerous other Powdery stuff) for catching Pokemon.

I have to say, this was the most fun of the POTWs so far. I really like Victreebel, and I think it's one of the best Grass types (Cradily>Victreebel, but hey). Now I have to convince others that it's good, and you all know how they never listen (stupid others).

I don't care for him. Yeah he's helpful in catching Pokemon, but nothing else. In my opinion. But I don't hate him.

Only and top for favorite grass in my opinion. He great at the begging of Lg, espicially against Misty. If you train he/she good throughout the game he/she can turn into a powerhouse.

You bring a point. In the beginning it can be very helpful. However I haven't used one in a long time.

Kanga was my very first favorite pokemon.
He was also the first pokemon I played as on pokemon stadium.
I think Kanga would make a great teamate and party pokemon, with the ability to learn thunderbolt and dizzy punch this pokemon could really pack some power.
HP = 105
Attack = 95
Defence = 80
Speed = 90
Special Attack = 40

~~FINAL RATING~~
8/10

I think is a great Pokemon. It's just that Normal type isn't really commonly used, and there are quite a few good alternatives. So it's rather maligned.

{kangaskhan} is my favorite Normal pokemon to use. It has better then normal attack and if I'm not mistaken good HP. I've used the substitute stratagy before and it is really good.

I will always remember Houndoom as the Pokemon that has a Flamethrower attack that can deduct half of my Blastoise's Hp
Great Pokemon really. And nice creative set, by the way. Too bad no one will use it because, well, the standard set is too powerful to resist

And a dang shame, because I've done the creative set in-game and in link battles, and it works REALLY well.
Yeah, I always got really ticked off in the GSC Elite Four when Houndoom would get a 2HKO on my Lapras and for some reason Surf barely damaged it . . .

I tried that houndoom once, but it got pounded into dust by brick break because I picked the wrong nature. xD

Houndoom ROCKS! I wish it was available in later GBA games other than Altering Cave. Anyway, I'd give a 9/10.

Probably the best Dark type pokemon.
I have never really used a . But from all the people who seem to like him, its making me think that I should.
I used to have a rough time with team rockets houndoom in pokemon stadium 2's battle tower.

edit: first off back to last weeks, kangy pwns, probably one of the best UUs out there (even though its earlybird ability is overrated)... my stardard set for it goes something like this:
@ leftovers
Adamant | Early Bird
6 HP, 252 atk, 252 spd
Return
Earthquake
Shadowball
Fakeout
i just love those fakeouts that take out about a third of your opponents HP
next off, no, is the best dark pokemon, with the possible exception of ... next would prob be (its defense is way too low or it would be good)
but anyway, its been a week, which one's next
