I was thinking if you were to make a team using only pokemon ash has caught who would you use? Here's the team i would put together (the pokemon potential evolved form doesn't count so you can't have squirtle because he would eventually be a blastoise)

He let his Pidgeot go in the sense of letting someone else hold on to it. At the end of Season 1 he had Prof. Oak use it to protect other Pidgeys. |

this team is based on ash's strongest pokemon to date while still following the animes formula to build ash's team namely pikachu, a grass -type, a fire-type, a water-type, a normal/flying-type, and a random type
 or
