And what about a traded pokemon holding THREE Lucky eggs?!?!?!
...just kidding, but seriously...
I, believe it or not, thought of this one day. This would actually be a great idea if Nintendo ever picked it up. There'd be another whole complexity and aspect added to the game. This would greatly affect breeding and parents' hold items, not to mention the simple fact that certain combinations promote special effects and new strategy.
P.S. Red Kyogre, i feel ur quote, i just recently had a run in with a couple of losers the same day i signed up, which was not too long ago. Im probably a bigger pokemon buff than either of those two rapid-posting posers.

Choice Band + Choice Scarf = Garchomp, Salamence, T-Tar, Heracross etc all get made uber. Let's stick with one item please.

I saw this coming when I started the Dual type move thread.
Soul Dew + Choice Specs on Lati@s. Everybody would use that.
But 2 Lucky Eggs would fail. It's like using 2 Amulet Coins.

I stumbled across this idea when planning a Dodrio moveset. I intended to give it a Focus Sash so that I could lead with SDance (which I realise it doesn't get, now) and then endure the hit so that it could retaliate with Flail. It was then that I thought that with a Choice Band would boost that already massive attack (boosted by low HP) and planned the whole moveset around it.
It was then that I realised that you couldn't have two items on a Pokemon, and realised how broken the metagame would be if that was the case. I mean, Focus Sash + Band? That would murder. Endure one hit, survive a revenge kill and then kill that too.
There would be inumerable broken movesets that would ruin the game. Choice Band/Scarf would be one...

Good idea on paper, but not really feasible. Items are only there to aid movesets, but if Pokemon were to be able to hold two items, it would take the focus away from the movesets. In addition, it would result in really broken combinations of items and other complications.

lol, not if youre salamence is holding two choice bands
seriously though, it really just pumps up the strength of existing items. rather than there being like 500 items (or whatever there are) there would be 500x500=250000 combinations of items. the choice band+scarf would essentially just be an item which "raises speed and attack but allows only one move" etc.
some nice combos would include:
two leftovers
salac + starf berry (on a baton passing smeargle with endure)
leftovers + chesto berry on curselax/suicune
salac+liechi
choice band+scarf / choice specs+scarf
leftovers + shed shell. for skarm/magnezone
and many many more.......
nice idea, but yeah it would make things way too complicated and, like someone said before, it would take a lot of the emphasis off the movesets.

Essentially what sN0w said.
Having two items on a Poke would just take all the fun and challenge out of Pokemon battling, not to make it a chore trying to win against something like Skarmbliss.
The basic idea of my post can be summed up in three words:
Waaaaaaaay too broken.

How about quick claw + sharp beak, for 's razor wind?
Or perhaps, twistedspoon + liechi berry for 's family?
