Staraptor is, without doubt my favourite Sinnoh pokemon. On my first diamond playthrough (which I didn't finish because my R4 broke) Serpenstar (the nickname) was by far my most used pokemon, outgrowing my starter Torterra by many levels. I love how he's not a "useless early type" and is design is just general badassery too. So when I started Platinum off with a nuzlocke challenge, Staravia too led the pack, outgrowing piplup by many levels. but umm so yeah I failed the challenge :o but I kept playing anyway and Brave Bird/Close Combat/Return/Intimidate have got me out of many sticky situations. I also love Staraptor's platinum sprite, where he's just "I'm too good for you." *smirk*

Typhosion I love for old times sake. Cyndaquil was my choice when I first started Gold version back in the day, and I chose him again when I played the Japanese Soul Silver. Trusty typho gets me through anything and I also love him in the Gardevoir comic, because if I had to sum myself up I think I'd be that kinda guy -___- lol. (Its a pretty good read, people should look for it. What I mean is that I see qualities of myself in that typhlosion. Ok it doesn't make sense if you haven't read it).

Actually I don't even think Manectric's design is all that great, especially his hairstyle. BUT what I do love is that he was the first "bro" I really had - I had downloaded a Ruby rom back in 2002 when pokemon wasn't cool anymore and played the game through without consulting an online pokedex. So when my electrike evolved I was pretty freaking ecstatic, and it didn't hurt that he powered through the endless swimmer battles too. So while I haven't used Manectric in 8 years or so, he still remains one of my favourites to this day.

So lugia is another one of those nostalgic choices for me, the year's 2000 and everyone loved lugia... I didn't really think much of Lugia other than it was OMG LV 70!! and it looked so much better than Ho-oh (still does). I liked it even more after seeing it being awakened by the Kimono girls, and now even moreso after seeing its Black/White sprite flapping away

Smugleaf love because of the grasshole show which is hilarious. I love how he does the "sup" nod in his black/white sprite (REFER TO AVATAR) and even though I haven't used him he's been my favourite generation 5 starter since DAY 1 and probably will be there until I find reason not to like him. u mad?

A brid with three heads, if this isn't freaking epic I don't know what his. Insane (ok, relatively high) attack and Speed stats made him one of my most used pokemon in my leafgreen file, as well as access to Tri Attack which I thought was the BEST MOVE EVER!!!! back then. **** THE HATERS this thing is beast and underrated as hell, more people should like him.

One of the best boltbeamers ever, I've used him a couple of times now, first in my Gold file and also in my SoulSilver file. I also used him a fair bit back when I used to Netbattle a lot, and he used to be pretty sturdy and I had a gimmicky set which worked surprisingly well (against beginners though) at subsitute/swagger/screech/surf. I also like his versatility, although I think a BEASTLY EVOLUTION would probably make me very very very very content (although will probably see him whored out to 10 year olds though A LA RHYPERIOR)

First time I saw this guy I HAD to catch him. come on a freaking GRASS DINOSAUR that looked epic! I mean as a kid I was fascinated by dinosaurs and my favourite was the BRACHIOSAURUS... so I'm walking along the grass and HOLY SMOKES A BRACHIOSAURUS... WITH WINGS?? This is probably one of the MOST creative things pokemon have done ever, and it sucks and they nerfed him with **** stats and subpar typing (yes I know that Grass-flying makes the most sense but still they could have given him better stats, SP ATK + SPEED IM LUKIN @ U). It's a shame the only use I've had for him is as a HM slave BUT... he's been a HM slave for /every/ hoenn game I've played. So yeah me and tropius are like tight. BFFs

I thought Scyther was freaking awesome when I first saw him, although I didn't pay any attention to him because I couldn't catch him. So when gold came out he was awesome because catching him meant you automatically won the Bug Catching contest but I tried him out in battles but because bug/flying sucked mega ***** back then I quickly boxed him and never used him again. So yeah when the advanced games came out WOAH! updated sprites! scyther looked more beast than ever before. So I caught one in my heartgold file and watched him clean the floor. I refuse to evolve him to scizor because scizor is really ugly compared to scyther but I very much like Scyther's design cos he looks awesome. I mean he HAS SCYTHES FOR HANDS! Doesn't that scream AWESOMELY JAWDROPPINGLY INCREDIBLE?? (**** off gallade not talking 2 u).

ARCANINE sits at number one, and it's only recently that it has. IF I had a pet, I'd want it to be arcanine, and we'd go on adventures everyday and then go to sleep when we're tired. Some of his sprites really irk me and in the anime he looks fake and his stripes are gross but I've seen some really cute artwork of him and he'd make the best BRO ever. I've liked arcanine since Blue had one in Yellow, but I never got around to training one until.... HEART GOLD. In gold, I already had typhlsion (as well as Ho-oh) in my team, and he was never in any of the subsequent Pokemon games that I decided to get :( So yeah the anticipation of training him also lifts him up to the position of my favourite. AND GUESS WHAT? He gets close combat in black/white YES YES YES YES YES!!! Anyway a lame story about me is that I put arcanine first in my party so I can watch him follow me because I think it's very bro-like -_______- yeah I'm lame lol

And I m sure that "Pekacho" never misses you either... welcome to the forums ;)

Anyways I have to say my favorite will always be Mewtwo {mewtwo} who I think should have better stats than the highly overrated Arceus {arceus}... if I had to pick a favorite outside of the legendary pool, it would probably be Gengar {gengar} actually. I used to have this Charizard {charizard} obsession but it's really quite overrated itself. So for me it's Gengar FTW!

It sure has been a long time since I've posted here.

Anyway, my favorite pokemon is Gardevoir, no question. (Blaziken comes in as a very close second, though).

Ralts was the first pokemon I captured in sapphire version, so it only makes sense as to why I like Gardevoir.

I don't care what anyone says or if she is ranked NU, Gardevoir will always be my favorite, and always a part of my team. (even when I get black version, after I get the national pokedex of course)

Well I haven't posted here for ages. So, as time flies, so does my preferences. My overall favorite still remains as Lugia, though.

It's probably obvious that my most favourite pokemon of all time is and always will be Flygon. I just love it and everything about it! Espeon takes second place and Vaporeon takes third place, I like these Eevee evolutions.

There was a Pokemon magazine with a scyther on it, and I thought it was the coolest until I learned it evolved. (I was a wee lad at the time)

They were on the cover of the R/S guide that I read everytime I plaued Ruby.

Mine has always been Image Pidgey!
Always my first pokemon to be caught (well, when I'm playing Red & Yellow and such) and always levels fast.
I never really use it during the Elite 4, it becomes kind of useless then :(
