Pkmnmaster01, Shaymin is a hedgehog. Why don't you look at its Sky Forme? it looks way better.

I wish you guys would stop hating on Shaymin, you gotta admit it's pretty cute.

i've answered the questions at the TV station and have the mystery gift option at the start up but i carnt get the gift, is there somewhere that you have to be in the game in order to get the gift

You have to:

1. Turn of your DS.
2. Go to Mystery Gift at the Menu after you the Pokemon Platinum Logo with Giratina.
3. Selct Recieve Gift over Wi-Fi.
And you should get it.
Then just go to a Pokemart and pick up Oak's Letter. Don't forget to save.

I am new to nintendo DS, how do i recive the gift, how do i get it over Wi-Fi, what is Wi-Fi. yes, i am a complete noob :( lol

it is wireless internet basicly. if you haven't already read the instuctions on the main website on how to unlock

I got shaymin when the event came out first and its now level 100 and now i got two :P

My second one at level 30 im gonna trade over to Soul Silver when i get it as i dont think there are any good grass types in general apart from meganium and im starting with feraligatr :)

I just got Shaymin about three weeks ago and caught it with a PokeBall. I took three of them but I caught it with little trouble at all.

i got my shaymin from a friend, I had to trade him my Snorlax and Charizard :)
(i didnt think that was a bad trade :) )

he got it from someone through GTS
It cost him his groudon , salamance , mew and Lugia HA :)

You can also find someone with a wonder card shaymin, and recieve it from them, wondercards are the way you get events over wifi btw.

Okay, so I just caught my Shaymin. I then recieved the Gracidia flower from Floroma Town. Can you turn Shaymin back from Sky Forme after using the Gracidia?

@PkmnMaster01-If I recall, Shaymin returns back to it's normal forme when you put it in the PC or at night. But, to be honest, I'm not really sure about this theory. I'm just recalling what I remembered. Plus, I haven't played a Pokemon game for about 6 weeks, so don't bet your money on my thoery. :wink:

You have it right pokemon_god. Shaymin turns back into its Land Forme at night, or when you put it in the PC. You also cannot change Shaymin from its Land Forme into its Sky Forme at night.

& a few other ways it returns to it's Land Forme is if it is frozen in battle while in it's Sky Forme, when deposited into the pc or when traded, period.

Oh, & this thread...should probably not be a sticky anymore...just saying...
