Someone told me that when evolving a rhydon with Lightning rod it will gain the ability solid rock and when trading one with rock head it becomes lightning rod, Normaly when a pokemon evolution can have 2 abilited like seadra it keeps the same line and sniper doesnt swap to Swift Swim, so id like to know if this is true because i want Rhyperior with solid rock

Post questions there. I would assume that a Rhydon with rock head would evolve into a Rhyperior with solid rock, and a Rhydon with lightning rod evolves into a Rhyperior with lightning rod. I see no reason why they would switch like that. |

i always thought that Rhyperior always had solid rock because it always takes extra damage to grass and water moves and then it alos has lightning rod which is extremely annoying in double battles.

It is true a Rock Head Rhydon evolves into a Lightning Rod Rhyperior, while Lightning Rod Rhydon becomes Sloid Rock Rhyperior.
