alright so I was in wayward cave when I finally realized this. When I'm running around trying to find pokemon to fight, my game freezes for a split second multiple times before I actually run into a pokemon. When I do finally run into a pokemon it freezes my character for a whole second and then opens up the battle. I guess the word for that would be laggy. Idk I just wanted know if there's n e 1 else out there with similar problems. |

Hasen't happened to me. Have you used any cheating devices like an Action Replay with it? |

I haven't done anything with it. I got it reserved so it's very new. Also I think I just found that it only happened in wayward cave |

No, I haven't had any problems. There may be something wrong with the game chips, or maybe it's slightly faulty, or it could be a region screw-up (e.g. if it was from a different country as the DS). Anyway, I don't think it matters, just use a repel to prevent a pokemon from coming up and freezing your game. Besides, you said it was only short, didn't you? |

it appears that Platinum has become like Windows 2000. Highly anticipated, great to use, but loaded with unforseen problems that make it a dumpy game until you get the upgrade. That's why i wait some time before getting a vid game i really want, for they secretly keep fixing probolemns as they ship out more supply. |

What are you talking about?I got my Platinum reserved and it's worked perfectly ever since I got.( except when I turned off my DS before it finished saving but that was operators error) On Topic: If your cartridge truly freezes during wayward cave, you might be able to mail it back to Nintendo for a refund/new game. |

ha! ur platinum got f***** up! i mean c'mon! maybe ur ds has a problem. or u probably did something to ur platinum. my own fell down 'bout 2 times hard and nothing happened |

If possible, try playing your Platinum in another DS or another Platinum in your DS to determine where the cause of the problem is. |

when i got platinum i had a DS lite. This past weekend i got the DSi. So im pretty sure its not the ds |

It works on my DSi wonderful. But, like others said, it may be where it was made. I bought my platinum like a month after the release. So, as they keep on manufacturing I guess the quality gets better. I'm not implying that I know that, just an opinion.

I think it is because of your DS because me and my brother have platinum diamond and pearl and with all of them I have a problem on one DS and not on another. The problem is that I can vaguely see the image on the lower screen of the DS on the upper screen of the DS Ard |

It's nothing fatal, is it? |

Mine does something like that, whenever I run into a Pokemon in the grass it looks like it freezes my character 4 a split second then I run into a Pokemon in the next patch of grass. o.0 |

it might just be a one off or something. mine is just fine. there might be a o.1% chance of it being faulty so u are unlucky and in that 0.1% |
