Anyone willing to test getting rid of the D2? I'm busy at the moment. :(

This might sound like a stupid question but, does it give all of the berries x999? (I'm positive it does though, I'll test it out)

Like Volke said, it gives only 995, however when you create the code with Pokesav for all berries, you can change the number to 999 each. I'd recommend using Pokesav for codes like that, as Pokesav doesn't give that irritating Explorer Kit.

I'm not sure I grasp the usefulness of this. Care to elaborate/give us the code? How were they detectable in the first place? I don't think they're even detectable in the first place, unless maybe if you Pokesav them (possibly because someone might've not added the secret ID, of course, I don't know much about bad eggs ).

A shiny PID, as far as I know, has something a normal one doesn't, and this code makes the game regenerate PIDs until it gets a shiny one, rather than just make the pokemon shiny. Pokemon can be hack checked, and that would give it away, but if it actually HAS a shiny PID, it won't work. I don't know the code, but it would probably be best not to use it, in case some people say their shinies are legit.

I don't suppose you happen know what PID stands for, do you? So there is a hack-check Action Replay code?

Wait, not to use what code?

Player ID, I think.

Quote:

The all shiny code that makes a "legit shiny" by correcting the PID (Pokemon ID, not player, in this case) to a shiny ID.

No, programs such as legit.exe and pAC can hack check, but I won't get into that since we're not allowed to discuss it on these forums.

So, when a person uses the "shiny in wild" cheat, the Pokemon's ID is changed, so that it would be shiny, but because of this, the Pokemon's ID is different from the Player ID, therefore proving that it's illegitimate? Am I right?

Just wondering, but does Pokesav bypass this?

You can always say you got it from someone else, plus how would people check this other than trading?

Okay, let me try to explain this.

A normal (not shiny) Pokemon's PokemonID has only 0's and 1's in it. A shiny Pokemon's PokemonID has only 0's and 2's in it. Normally, the all shiny cheat just makes a Pokemon shiny, without taking the 1's and making them into 2's, but this code (which I actually don't know) makes the game get more PIDs until it gets a shiny one; one without 1's.

(That's not exactly what happens, I can't remember exactly, but it's something like that.)

Programs like pAC check if a Pokemon's PID is a proper shiny PID. If it isn't it'll tell you it's hacked. However, since this code DOES make proper PIDs, pAC can't tell, and the only person who would know it's hacked is the person who hacked it.

If you mean the PID thing, I'm not actually sure, but I doubt it.

But that would be dishonest. :(

Quote:

pAC, legit.exe and whatever other hack checking programs there are.

Anyway, as I said, we can't discuss these things, so Google it or something, I guess.

I know this probably isn't the right place, but i didnt want to start a new thread just to ask:

Im considering getting an AR. mostly cause i dont want to have to buy more :censored: ing fake copies of R/S/E/LG/FR in an attempt to get pokes.

So what im asking is: is it worth the monies?

Im guessing yes, but i more want to know of any (bad) experiances with both buying and using it.

and how much did it cost ya'll. cause i dont want to get fleeced

This may sound like a silly question.

But how do you find the secret ID?

Post subject:  Re: ActionReplay

There's a code for it, it makes your money = your id.

But don't look at me. D:

As for your question, I got my AR where they use british pounds, and it was about £30 in Argos. It's AR Max or something, in a metal case. It's WELL worth the money, trust me.

Edit: lol, why the hell did i write idea instead of id?

Post subject:  Re: ActionReplay

Well i got mine for £20 in GAME so looks like a good price.

now all i have to do is to try and get the stuff i make in pokesav go onto the AR.

i tried to create the code but it wouldnt accept it on the ARCM.

but at least now i can create the stuff.

This may sound like an even sillier question but, what is secret ID and what does it do?

The purpose of knowing your Secret ID is to trick the game into thinking that the pokemon you create with Pokesav is one that you caught yourself, hence it will always obey you regardless of level (of course if you already have all eights badges this would not matter anyway). Some folks have 5 digits, and others have 4 digits in their secret ID.

You know, a funny thing happened the other day. I was using my Action Replay to try and hack my way into Flower Paradise. As soon as I got there and saved, my game froze, probably because of the AR's flimsiness (it happens a lot). So anyway, I reset the game and the Action Replay Code Select screen froze. I kept trying a few more times. The last time, the code select screen showed "Unknown Game". I looked at the code files, and found nothing. My Action Replay had deleted itself. I quickly removed the AR and checked my Diamond. Luckally, nothing had changed. I was still in Flower Paradise, with no way to get out except to fly. Then, I discovered I didn't have any pokeballs except my masterball. So I said "screw this. I'll just wait for the event" and flew away, never to return.

have you tried updating the AR itself? try using the "Update Software" button, in the top-right of the AR Code Manager. this should restore the game files and game id's, which make it necessary for the AR to recognize the game.

yikes, that surely doesn't help. do you know anyone with a AR? maybe they'll let you borrow the cd and usb cord. sorry to say, but without those two components, your AR is as good as useless.

Just enter them manually.

My usb connector doesn't work for my AR because I have version 6.0 (I think), and incidentally, that is the only version that can't use the usb so I have no choice but to enter codes manually.

I've run myself ragged searching through the forums and such, but didn't find anything specific to my problem. I'm new to using ActionReplay, so I used my little cousin's for the first time today. He gave me a code that gives me 995 of every item.

However, I just noticed that everything in my Key Items section is gone! So I found that there is actually a code that gives you all the items but erases your Key Items. Here's the website: http://www.supercheats.com/nintendods/pokemondiamondcodes2.htm

It's under the topic "All the codes I know." Is there anyway that I can get my Key Items back? Or is this a risky glitch that I can't get rid of? I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

Author:  Patchy [ Tue Dec 23, 2008 11:26 am ]
Post subject:  Re: ActionReplay

You could find a code on the internet, maybe.

Did the AR not come with a default code for 995 items?

If you can't get them back, I can make you a code in Pokesav. But it's not going to be a short code. >_>

Edit: This should work.
