Shinx because its final stage Luxray is much more powerful than a pachirisu in terms of stats and moves

Although Pachirisu is faster, it has a lacking movepool, and doesn't have the attack to back itself up. Unlike Pikachu, who can totally abuse Light Ball.

Luxray is a better choice, as its movepool is huge (it can learn all three of the Fang moves), and with its preferred ability Rivalry, you may get a good attack boost.

He's not good for competitive battling, but Pachirisu is worse. Luxray is the way to go.

Shinx, no question. Luxray is a good in-game lightning type, whereas Pachirisu is an electric squirrel version of Luvdisc, but with no chance of holding a good item. Its only redeeming factor is that it is fast, and it is slightly easier to chain than many other Pokemon.

I don't usually use Pokemon that don't evolve so i'm gonna go with Shinx.

*sniff* Pachirisu, because it is 100 times cuter than that evil lightning cat :p . But to get you through the game, sadly the better option would be Shinx. But if you're like me and like the challenge of going through the game with weaklings like good old Pachy, the Ele-Squirrel is for you! XD

i used pachirusu to beat diamond and i got one at lv 100 it's preety good superfang iron tail t-bolt and a filler i never liked luxray

Luxray is obviously better than Pachirisu. However, for an in-game team, it really doesn't matter which you use - use the one you like more. You might need to level Pachirisu a bit more to win, but if you're using a team of 3-4 it's usually quite easy to have 5-10 levels above the gym leaders and E4.

PACHIRISU!!! Even though it's stats suck (other than speed) I've tested it. Got a Luxray to lv 100, same with Pachirisu. Pachirusu did most of the league work, and at the end the Pachirisu didnt faint, the Luxray did.

As well as being faster, levels up faster.
I just went with the first on I found. Shinx.

Pachirisu is like 100 times more Kawaii from all other eletric pokémons
and i have 4 shiny Pachirisu...i use one as a Pick Upper...
But shinx is cool too.
And Luxray is much more.
I have a Shiny Shinx and Luxray... YAY!

I think shinx because like the other people said it lvls up int luxray and i think luxray is a bit more powerful than parchrisu.

Shinx is definitely the better option in my opinion. You catch it earlier on, it has a final evolution with great stats, learns most of the elemental fangs (if not all, I haven't checked) and, at least I think, is WAY cuter than . I still haven't been bothered to catch a pachirisu, and my luxray (with rivalry and female!! ) is currently lvl 69 and my best legit electric poke to date!!!

For the long run, unless you really need a challenge, go with Shinx, it's soo much better.

i would use shinx because it evolves and its stats get higher than pachirisu's stats. plus shinx gets better moves than pachirisu.

of course, pachirisu is the worst 4th generation pkmn in my opinion.
