The first shiny I ever got was a shiny whismur I stol-got from a friend.
The second shiny I ever got was a shiny Scyther off the GTS.
The first shiny I caught was a shiny Bidoof in the Safari Zone.
The only shinies I have now are a level 30 bibarel and a level 100 drapion (off the GTS).

I've only ever seen two legit shinys, one was a Bronzong, pretty early in my Diamond, and the other is a Spinda. >.>
But my first encounter with a shiny was probably like Jirachi, he gave me codes to my AR and then I started a game I like to call Shiny Poker.
I just click shiny an type in the last three numbers/letters and out pops a whatever.

In my Fire Red version, I was in some kind of cave EV training my Scizor on parases. One of them looked funny, and I wasn't paying attention when the battle started. So I began getting nervous, wondering if it was a shiny or not... I decided to play it safe, and only really risked one pokeball: I threw a luxury ball at it (if it was shiny, I'd want it to be nice and comfy), and I caught it. I ran back to a pokemon center, and looked in my box. Yup, it was indeed a shiny! I then chucked the Scizor into the PC (never used him again after that, really) and started to train my new shiny paras!

Today that paras is named "Sectaar" (not sure exactly, ironically, even though he's a shiny), and is a level 70 something parasect. I don't pay all too much attention to him now, but if someone asks, I have an answer for them: "Yes, I have a shiny right here". Then I hold up my cute little mushroom proudly.

I haven't gotten a shiny Pokemon yet besides the standard Red Gyarados everyone gets. (I do want a shiny Roselia though, looks AWESOME.)

My first shiny Pokemon was a hacked Turtwig caught in a Master Ball. I got it off of the GTS. ^_^

My first legit Shiny Pokemon I ever found was a Magikarp. It's not the coolest shiny of all time, but it sure beats Bidoof. especially when it evolves. I was trying to catch junk Pokemon for a trade, and I stumbled on him. I have to say, I like its gold color. I originally wanted it caught in a Premier Ball, but I had one and it didn't work, so I caught it in a Luxury Ball, which is just as good.

Eventually I obtained a shiny Gastly and a shiny Sneasel in a trade.

Edit: I have a shiny Beldum, but I used a shiny modifier code for it. I caught it in the right place though, and on the day it swarmed. I got a shiny Mewtwo from a trade. I'm not sure if it's hacked or legit. It looks legit enough for me.

The first one was a shiny zubat inside a cave in my ruby version. I didn't notice it was shiny, and i didn't even know what was that. So, i killed him then i found a tentacool in the sea right after the cave XD that one i noticed and all i thought was what the..? i captured it, and now is a shiny tentacruel lvl 100.
Two days playing diamond and i found a shiny geodude inside the maniac cave (that one that gets bigger when you get the unowns)(WHoa now i'm seeing that shiny cave pokémons like me ^^) I couldn't stop smiling. Because it was strong, and shiny! Now i'm hunting a shiny beldum.. No success

EDIT: Almost Forgot, i got a shiny granbul by trade (i think was with crunchy, but i'm not sure), and traded it for shiny magby since i don't like granbull.. but the magby is hacked.. ugh.. if i knew that...

My first shiny ever was a shiny back in gold. But unfortunately.. I didn't realize how good it was until after I released it and found out it wasn't a glitch after all...

I had Shiny Slugma in Emerald, Shiny Lotad in Emerald, and a Shiny Tentacool I got from a friend (they had two of them), and a Shiny Bayleef (I got it as a Chikorita). Now, I can't get any in Pearl.

A few hours ago I caught a shiny Rayquaza... one of my favorite shinies.

The only shiny I saw was when my best friend was playing my pearl. he was facing palkia and it was shiny. I was like: HOLY !!!!!!!! But my friend turned it off because he thought it was a glitch. I made him cry.

My first shiny Pokémon was a in my Pokémon Crystal. Thn I found a shiny in my Pokémon Sapphire and a shiny in my Pokémon LeafGreen. In my Pokémon Pearl, I have shiny , , and .

I've yet to find a single shiny since the days of GSC Y~Y

My girlfriend, however, found a shiny ponyta just 4 days after I let her make a new game on my copy of leaf green, lol. She doesnt play anymore though and let me take it. I cloned it on emerald and sent it to Diamond. I have another clone of it incase she ever decides to buy and play pearl, though its kinda unlikely.
