i have always wanted nintendo to bring back some of the features the did in the other games... for example:

1. have the pokemon follow u on ur journey walking behind u (yellow version's pikachu)

2. get to travel between regions and battle the gyms there (crystal version)

i was kinda hoping that they could have brought it back for D/P... T.T

are there any other things that u guys think that nintendo should bring back into pokemon games?

1. Well, in Amity Square you have a pokemon following you. That's pretty close I guess.

2. YES! I think it would be cool of you could go to all the regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn)

Do you have any idea how long that would take to program? Also, there's no way it would fit on one game... how about making it multiple cartridges?

whats the difference between that and multiple games?

What a good point. Other than keeping your same pokemon, nothing. Although without a decent memory stick the DS won't be able to remember sqaut. It's not worth it unless you add only 1 region rather than all.

i know that it would be alot of programming and difficult too... but maybe they could bring back the one with the pokemon following? I know amity square has that, but i'd rather like it when it follows u everywhere... or maybe perhaps they could make it to go between Sinnoh and Hoenn?

Even moving between Sinnoh and Hoenn would be pushing it with memory. I heard the cartridge was nearly filled by Sinnoh alone. And we all remember how empty Kanto was in G/S/C in order to fit it into the game. Hoenn would be even more watered-down if it was stuffed in the same cart as Sinnoh.

How about making a memory stick specificaly for the game and putting it into the GBA slot? then you can keep pokes/items while moving from region to region...
all for the low low price of 150 US dollars! :)

I remember when Pokemon Stadium came out I was so excited to see my pokes in 3D, then I realized it stunk because the game itself was merely an extention of the GB game. But now... how bout making a Wii game stadium were you can do these things:

1. Customize your own main character: Name, Appearance, What you say when you challenge someone and your home stadium.

2. Tour your secret base in 3D as well as a room were you can walk by and view all the pokemon you caught in 3D

3. Have the pathetic 4 people minigames so your not bored out of your skull after playing the game for so long.

4. Be able to compete against other real people in Battles, Contests, Berry/Poffin mixing/blending, and get to go underground and dig using the Wii Remote.

Eh? Well? How bout those ideas.

I was hoping for Nintendo to come out with a game one day that involves a hugely long journey, all the way through Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, AND Shinnoh... that would certainly hold me over for a LONG time. And by the time you get to the last Elite Four or something, they'd be like level 100, and when you beat them, you could be the national champ... or something

Or better yet...
do what the anime does and challenge difficult trainers whose levels are in the 90's+ in tournament style.
But still, the amount of time it would take to program...
the next game boy will have come out :)

it would be close to impossible to travel to other regions. pokemon d/p already takes up the memory of 4 normal ds games, so i doubt they'll be able to make it bigger.

Well, the thing is that the gba pack can hold transferable data (pokes, items, trainer stuff, etc.) while the games hold the actual data from the region (i.e. poke trainers, gyms, wild pokes)
So technically it would be possible, but HIGHLY unlikely.

Not getting into WoWCraft country, but what if they made Pokemon an MMORPG? It would be a new concept.

It has the fan base to support an Online MMORPG. You would start in 1 of 4 regions (Hoenn, Sinnoh, Johto, etc...) and choose your appearance and starting Pokemon, which would not be a strong one. Instead of just trying to capture them all you would foil Team Rocket and... crap my idea just got pathetic... ignore me :(

not really a new concept, but they haven't done it yet.
It would be more like you were playing just the normal game except you could battle anyone anywhere and it has all the regions...
Still, the time it would take... can you guys wait a few years?

I would like to see something like it. Not too much like Pokemon stadium though. I just wanted to get the feel for actually being in the Poke world as a trainer.

Like instead of turn based moves they have a Supersmash Brothers realtime brawl for the Pokemon battles, with rankings so that the beginners vs beginners and the hardcore vs the hardcore. I'd find that to be an awesome way of playing Pokemon, and would add a whole new look to the genre.

Super smash pokes...
different... but fun I guess
It would be best if it was voice controlled 3-D battles like the anime. more realistic

If you mean missigno, that was red and blue;
the duplicating trick works in diamond and pearl, only with the GTS

LMFAO that was priceless. How does the Cloning glitch work with GTS?? Do you possibly mean the Wi-Fi trading in the bottom of the Pokemon center because I have heard of no such thing in the GTS.

Also Missing0 has nothing to do with the cloning glitch introduced in GSC, in GSC it involves the save thas is introduced in the PC when you switch Boxes. That glitch can also be used to give you all 3 Starters in GSC without trading.

I have heard very very few rumors that you can clone in trades at the Pokemon Center. It involves turning it off right when it say take good care of (whatever) but I have yet to test or prove it.
