Sadly, I do not have a Darkrai. Arceus is rather hideous, but I am fond of it's cry. Sounds like when you hit a computer with a sledgehammer or something.

I detest hacked Pokemon (unless it's only for Dex data, which is why I traded for a Darkrai) simply because it's cheating and I detest cheaters.

If you see a Shaymin, Darkrai or Arceus with an English name, it has been hacked, as the limit in Japanese games is 5 characters.

They haven't planned any for america yet. Even the Japanese have only had one for the movie premier, and if you live in the UK...HA! You'd better have something good to trade, because it's gonna be awhile.

I've got a movie event Darkrai. It's legit caught in a cherish ball w/classic ribbon and proper OT/ID.

Some random person on another forum I go to used AR to get Darkrais to trade to other members of the forum. Shortly afterwards, the game locked him out of Wi-Fi. And then we lol'd.

so do i. before trading i was told it had roar of time and spacial rend, so i thought it must have been cheated. but i did some research, and for some reason they gave it those moves. weird. by the way, the classic ribbon means it cant be cloned. i went to offer it at the GTS and got a message along the lines of "this pokemon has a special ribbon - it cannot be offered for trade".

Well all of the Darkrais have to be Japanese to be Legit. I looked into to it A LOT. The event wasn't compatible with American Versions and I have no idea why whatsoever.

EDIT: Look at OriGinaLs post to see why the Darkrai has to be Japanese, any American named one is Fake with hacked items.

NTSC vs PAL. The games over there are a different format and require a different format of hardware to be able to process it. The same goes for all electronics. NTSC is the american version whereas PAL is standard in Europe and basically everywhere else.

And to whoever was talking about cloning, they can be cloned. They CANNOT be offered on GTS but the Action Replay has a cloning cheat. I would assume you've got the same Bold one as I do. Who traded it to you?

interesting. when i say it cant be cloned i mean via the GTS cloning trick - i do realise there are many things that can be done using cheating devices. also, i live in australia and my games are PAL.

All the information would and should be the same. It's an event pokemon so the OT/ID will match and so will the locations. As far as personality and taste go it wouldn't be too odd if they matched (about a 20-25% chance). I don't have my DS on me ATM otherwise I'd love to check. I think we are fine though because I've never heard of that kid before.

Well my Darkrai is Bold too, I think all Legit Japanese Darkrais are bold, it just seems to big of a coincidence.

Besides that I teamed up with that girl who has Latias and I still can't search for it on GTS because when you fight in Battle Tower your Pokedex is pretty much turned off.

i went to a Nintendo event and got darkrai and shaymin and mew. (arceus is ugly)
