Weve asked for him (and Arceus for that matter) over Wi-fi trading but does anyone actually have them?

No, as I dont have an Action Replay, and I haven't tried to trade over the GTS, in fact I have never even seen one - I assume the only way is to see one in the battle tower...?

I have no idea how to get Arceus, but my friend has an offical Darkrai. I'm trying to bargain with him so he can trade it for something else...

I don't have either of them. iirc, they are event Pokémon, so you'd have to use cheats to get them until the event.

i have a semi legit japanese darkrai (at the time of this editing i have an Arceus)

I used AR to get the Member's Card.

There's a reason they're event legendaries. This isn't Animal Crossing, where you can get items/thingies off of Wi-Fi. Not everyone is supposed to have them, it would ruin the novelty.

I got Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus from this guy on NetBattle through trade. I won't ask any questions, but the Arceus was level 1...

I don't think anyone has either of them because there haven't been any nintendo events for them. The only way they could have it is if they use an action replay or they used the japanese game glitch.[/list]

The reason that people get different level Arceus's is probably because of the Wild Pokemon Modifier code from AR. You press L+R to get 493 Masterballs, then discard however many you need to depending on what Pokemon you want.

Ex: Venusaur=3

493-3=490--Discard 490 Masterballs

And depending on what Route you're on, you'll get them at whatever level the normal Pokemon are at. So if you went to Lake Verity you'd get a Pokemon leveled between 2-4.

Arceus can also be hatched too, but idk how that works.

Everyone keeps saying how they got Arceus and/or Darkrai via Action Replay or Game Shark, but I've looked high and low for ANY codes for D/P and found jack squat. Can anyone point me in the direction of some?

No, I wish I had Darkrai, just as a trophy. It stats are so ridiculous that I'd probably never use it (Arceus is a whole different story if I were to make an 00ber team... I'd just want to take advantage of its spiffy ability).

You can't.

Actually, aside from the method of wild pokemon modifiers in regular areas, people will cheat to get the item to start the event (Similar to those in R/S/E/FR/LG who used a gameshark to get to the islands for Lati@s with Soul Dew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Deoxys, and Mew.)

What they'd do is cheat to get the Azure Flute, Member's Pass, and Oak's Letter, then go through and battle the event pokemon normally. These are the "semi-legit" pokemon, as opposed to the obviously hacked lvl 1 Arceus or what have you someone used a wild pokemon modifier for.

Neither are exactly legitimate methods, but considering there weren't many ways to get similar pokemon in RSEFRLG, It's somewhat understandable. I personally prefer a Semi-legit (when someone offers an event pokemon, I always ask the person and doublecheck the summary to see if it was found at the respective place of battle at the level you find it.) event Pokemon.

Don't forget the walk anywhere cheat, that's a common work around.
