One thing I couldn't find anywhere on the breeding sections is how do you determine gender when breeding? Is just a 50/50 chance that the egg will be male or female? Do you have to trade to get females that are only male in the game? This is important information. You may need a female charizard so it can breed with a snorlax for the egg move belly drum for instance. For the long of the short of it is, how do you get female pokemon that are only male in the game?

It has something to do (I think) with the % of males vs. females, e.g. Combee, male 87.5%, female 12.5%. I'm not sure how to help you on that, but I do know that if you breed a Pokemon with Ditto, it'll be the same gender that the non-Ditto parent was, unless it has the same exp. gain curve as Jigglypuff (easy).
But if you want to get a female Hitmontop or a male Jynx, you're out of luck!

it shows the chances of getting a male and female in the psydex...that's the chance of getting a male/female while breeding
