Post subject:  Frowned upon pokes
Okay, so there's the legendaries (Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Ho-oh, Lugia, Latias, Latios, Rayquaza...)

and i also heard that the use of Dragonite and Tyranitar is questionable....

Are there any other pokemon that are discouraged in a competitive sense? (The latest games included)

Also, if there are any other pokemon you would consider to have quite unfair advantages over the majority please list them!

I'm guessing once Arceus starts getting hacked for and begins to be available to the masses, it will be frowned upon very much. Pretty much any legendary is frowned upon as well.

With good reason. It just takes no skill to win with a team of ubers, whihc si why I dislike them. UU is much more challenging to use and more fun to play with.

when i went to the Diamond/Pearl Premeir event in NYC I saw the 2 legendaries clash.(bout same level)I saw Dialga kill Palkia in like 3 turns.
I give 4 thumbs down to Palkia.

Also I give as many thumbs down to Magikarp as possibe.

I look down on the pokemon that dont exist in diamod and pearl, like those fire types we never got and the awsome 1337ness that used to be a new dragon!

Pokes that I frown upon are any "legendary" or "uber" pokemon and (gasp) starter pokemon. Why? Because if there is one Pokemon in the entire game that you can pwn with (other than ubers) it is your starters. For example, back in the days of red and blue, I went to the Elite Four with a Lv. 80 or something Blastoise and quickly one WITH THAT ONE POKEMON. So, anyway, I have changed and just recently beat the Elite Four with Luxray, Gastrodon, Staraptor, Lucario, Rapidash, and, my apparent favorite, Roserade.

But that was back then now the AI is much better and uses better cordinated attacks then in Red and Blue(not to talk bad about the 1st gen but this was made for lil kids it was supposed to be easy sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings)
Just because of that you want to bag on all starters remember not all starters are classed as OU man sorry if I sounded rude just stating my point of view upon that topic

I dont agree that if any one pokemon you pwn wit is a starter, in R&B I went through the entire game with a pidgey/pidgeotto/pidgeot and in Yellow a Nidoking

Starters are good, but not Super good, the reason you can go through a game with just a starter is because you leveled it up a lot.

Wobbufet is hilarious. ^^

ya probably those too, just because they are so hard to beat, tyranitar doesnt make sense to me considering its weak to so may common things

I know what you mean. I wasn't too impressed by Dragonite because they were a lil slow, then G/S came out and the even slower, multi weakness Tyrannitar came out.

Garchomp makes sense to me, Faster than Dragonite, stab earthquake, 130 base attack.

The only pokémon I really have a problem with seeing are the ones that not everyone has -legitimate- access to, like the Event-Only pokémon that are obtained via the use of a gameshark/AR, etc; or legendary pokémon.

Everything else is fair game, IMO.
