Post subject:  Shiny Pokemon Hunters, unite!
If you are an avid shiny hunter, then this is the place for you. The forums just opened 2 days ago, so it very new. It has room for improvement but that will come in time. Come join the community to talk about your latest catches. Includes:

-Weekly and Monthly contests with prizes
-Trading forum to trade all your shinies.
-A Shiny Catch forum where you can brag about your latest catches and host blogs and your shiny hunting lives.
-And there will be so much more!

If you want to join, but have an idea to make this better, please post your idea in the idea forum!

i have a shiny clefable. 0.o
my first pokemon i raised to level 100 was a clefable on the original blue version. then i traded it to the silver version and it turned out to be a shiny... i loved uriel so. *sniff*

P.S. acording to one of the books that never made it to the bible (do to the beleif that it would insight angel worship) Uriel was the angel of death

Wow cool. I never knew that you could trade Pokemon frm Red/Blue to Crystal and they would become shiny. Interesting.

If you are looking to start collecting shinies, I can give you a few to start off with so you can trade with others after.

you mean the red one?I thought that was a promotion to the series so that people would be aware of shinies. man I miss the metal versions but am I the only one who thinks that crystal should belong to the forth and platinum should belong to the second. it seems that it would more themed that way

Back in GSC, a pokemon with all 10 in its DVs would automatically be shiny, including pokemon sent from RBY.

As for being a shiny hunter, only shiny I have is a ponyta that I caught in leafgreen. I used emerald to also have a rapidash, but that's beyond the point.

hm.. er. you can, but that's not the shinyhunters association that's alive ATM. Froggy disappeared from the internet and we have no contact with him. So, me and some other folks revived the forums and I'm starting to create a main site. the link to the new site advertising thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=23980

(P.S: Sorry moderation team for replying to a necromancying post but I can't lose a possible new member. and it's also good to remember that the old site is a bit more dead than the new one xD I guess people don't really care about shinies D: )
