Post subject:  Lost soldiers
what happened to the following members I've noticed the absence of (missed, perhaps)? Are they here under different names or have I simply overlooked the few posts they've made?

I can't think of any others, I'm tired.

There are alot of people on this Forum that have dissapeared. If you go to member list and and click sorted method by posts, ascending, 59 people have 0 posts and 112 have less than 5 (some of them don't count because they only joined in the past few days). Though I guess we won't find out unless they live again...

He's talking about members that joined years ago.

TheDanish was a registerd user in the last board and i read some were that he still apears on AIM

and i guess the other guys didnt find the new address (after the back to back moves in a short period of time) I still have an email address for spyke if you want to send him a message. I dont know how active is that email address though.

Spyke had a clash with the webmasters a very long while ago, and has since completely cut off contact with Psypoke as far as I'm concerned. Including me.

The others just don't come anymore. They went and got lives without letting anyone know. :P

I miss them too. Dane's on AIM quite a bit... I'll see if I can get in contact with him. Spyke went out with a bang, but I wouldn't mind having him back. MM's on AIM once in a while; think I saw him for a second the other day. Shiro also went out with a bit of a bang, IIRC, and he's only on AIM like once a year.

Jesse and SpyderQn both registered at the past forums, Wolfy and Bulby are through with us, sadly, and ClawzSS and Dave show up once in a while on AIM too....

Yes, for the record, Bulby is done with PsyPoke and has been since late 2002. Nothing against you guys, but it was time for her to move on before she stuck around and things got really lame. Not to mention she lost interest in Pokemon.

Jesse and SQ lurk occasionally, but I don't think they're really with us. I think they're debating popping up occasionally for the nostalgia, but that's really it.

Dave's done with PsyPoke, but I was always fairly neutral toward him, so this affects me in no way whatsoever.

Spyke and Pokemaster 105 both fell out with us over stupid things, and they're no coming back as far as I can see.

Dane is around occasionally. I'd say he's on that "lurking" status with Jess and SQ.

MM, I guess, wanted to get on with his life (he actually had one), and as I recall his interest in Pokemon was fading anyway. Same might go for Shiro.

that sounds all well and good. granted, it might be nice to see some of them for the sake of seeing them (and utterly hellish to see others), people come and go, it's a fact of life. but yeah, as said, many of these people just left psypoke, or lost interest in pokemon and left psypoke as a result. Not really the end of the world...

I've always been more likely to believe that people have 'got lives' when they stay and talk about it. The days of people (like me) spending ten hours around the community a day are long gone.

Well, I talked to Dane last night and he seemed excited about at least stopping by, if not joining up again.

I agree that it would be great to have people back just for old times' sake. It'd be really cool if we could get Nova to stop by some day, but he's prolly got a great and busy life going.
