Every April Fool's Day, the site admins decide to screw with the site layout in some form or fashion. This year it was Bidoof stampede and distorted text on the main page. I must say, aside from the Bidoofs blocking links, it was a fabulous prank.

I'm saddened to hear that this was the only reason you signed up, but maybe it isn't too late to adapt to life here...! ...I think...
