Desktop thread
Found this one while searching the webs. Originally it said Anniversary XV at the bottom, so I had to edit that out, but otherwise its still quite nice

I use this picture (resized obv.; it's got a vertical stretch) as my desktop background, because I have a crack sense of humor. It makes me smile every morning. |

I have a few hundred that cycle, 1 every 30 seconds, so I've just taken a screenshot at a random point in the mix. I don't keep any icons on my desktop; I access everything through the windows taskbar or start menu. http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/3494/88415697.png The others are remarkably similar (in scene, but not necessarily tone), most featuring solo or group shots of the lead characters of some animu. |

In Windows 7, the easiest access to it is to right click on the desktop, hit Personalize, then hit Desktop Background on the bottom near the left of the window that pops up. Navigate to your folder of choice and if you select more than one image, you'll then have the option to choose a slide show interval. To select multiple you can either just hit Select All, or hold down Ctrl as you click on the images. |

Image I don't spend a lot of time looking at the desktop background so I didn't put much thought into selecting one. This picture of Tower Bridge is alright. |

Here's what I currently have on my computer at work. It's a photo I took in Tucson, AZ a few years ago at the Botanical Gardens butterfly exhibit - it's a Tanzanian Eggfly. Attachment: BarnOwl-desktop.JPG I change my desktop background fairly often, depending on my mood.

It's kind of empty, it used to be full of things. One day though my whole desktop was wiped clean for no reason and all my files got moved from program files in C: to the E: and I still don't understand why. Nothing really works like it used to on this computer but I'm getting a new one in a few months so I'm making deal.
