Alienware seems extremely flashy to me. There are plenty of systems that give great performance without being so conspicuous. It also seems like a beacon for thieves to me. I'm using a dell laptop running windows 7 and it works pretty well. It seems to run very smoothly and there's been no problems yet. The only bad thing is that MS works isn't included, but I don't know if you want that sort of thing.

I run on the good old fashioned Windows XP. I want to get Windows 7 at the moment but I just cant be bothered to get all the things i need to update, Plus i run on very low Hard Drive space (Which sucks).

Forget the new OS, I need a new computer.
Everything cyanide posted, applies to me.

I have Windows XP on my desktop and Vista on my laptop and I'd much rather use XP anytime over Vista. I hate having to "accept" every dang thing that tries to run!
