What will the new year be bringing for all the other Psypoke members? How are you guys going to be ringing it in? A huge party? At home alone? Any resolutions?

2010 should be an awesome year for me (and the rest of Psypoke born in 1992) as I will finally be graduating high school and going away to university. The rest of us born in '92 also turn 18 this year, which, up here, means we can buy porn vote. It also means I only have one year left until I'm old enough to drink.

You guys? :>

Personally, Jamie, I'm unsure. I'm a '94 born, and I sure can't wait until I graduate. Lucky you, and congrats, btw! :D
I'll be spending tonight staying up doing homework and being productive :( , and personally, I'm glad I'll have those hours of working time--it'll let me get my work done sooner than if I went to sleep. For me, 2010 holds a drivers license, and summer vacation.

Happy New Years Eve!

I'm sure 2010 can't be as bad as 2009, Right?

2010, let's see, I turn 15, so nothing special there. It will just be a normal year for the most part.

It will be about the same. Same worldwide economic slump, same general style of living... not much different =P

But nonetheless, I'm looking forward to it

2010, just halfway to high school graduation. >.<

Yeah, looking forward to it, my 16th birthday, drivers license, what else could I want. =D

Most likely better because of the many things coming out then, (Gyakuten Kenji, Zelda Wii announced in more detial, hopefully Starcraft 2, etc.)
There's nothing that really is horrible in the upcoming year, at least nothing that we don't have already.

To be honest, I'm totally not sure. There are a few things I like about 2010. I turn 14, Elementary School graduation. But there is one thing I'm really gonna hate, High School. :( Have to wake up 1 hour earlier. But other than that, I'm kinda looking forward to 2010.

Im at home with my parents tonight but 2010 should be a great year for much of what Jamie said.

Us Ontarians have just a little bit longer until the end of the decade.

Eh, I don't see 2010 being any better than 2009, unless I get off my lazy ass and do something about it >.>

what did everyone do? I was determined to do nothing, cos every year i get on the piss. But I ended up spending the night playing mw2 at a mates place, so my night didnt go as perfectly planned. The cool thing to do here is to head into town to look at the fireworks, but i never go.

i want to get a penpal in 2010, which is kinda gay but why not. I turn 20, geezus. I guess my resolution is to be friendlier because lately i have been a jerk.

I spent it with family, but it was pretty awkward because there were people I didn't know there. I've gotten good grades in 2009 and I should do even better next semester, but it looks like it will be a very bad year.

I got slightly tipsy on cider and ate chocolate. Go me.

2010 is the year when my parents will force me to get a provisional driving license. :(

lol

So, 2008 was the worst year of my life, and 2009 wasn't really that great either, but I did OK. 2010 has sucked dick so far, but I hope it shapes out. I really want to go on vacation far away from the US, and that's my major goal this year (by my work's mandatory vacation during July).

I fear 2010 may be the end for the U.S. domination.

China will have no choice but to dump their treasury bills and blow out the economy. The mounting debt we owe, along with the reserve monetizing the debt and spending, will sink us into hyper-inflation.

There will be no way to continue with the welfare, stimulus, and bloated federal budget. We don't want to get off the drug of easy money because we're afraid of the withdrawal symptoms. Not doing so will lead to even worse repercussions, including the death of the patient, our country.

The countries that look like they will prosper include Japan, who's debt is owed mainly to itself, Canada and Australia with very low public debt and decent mining potential for gold and silver, China for manufacturing, and Singapore with trade and simpler tax-laws that don't punish innovation.

I don't want such a bad outlook, and it kills me. But I fear riots in the street, starting with college graduates and law-school graduates, who will have no work to go to. I fear that the restraints will be worse, with price controls leading to scarcity and rationing.

Edit: Damn, I didn't realize, it was a week old.. ah well.

This year has been far below my expectations...yes there is new games out, etc. But the US is going downhill slowly along with my respect for it in general which was below average to begin with. I'm ringing out the new year by getting back into drawing like I used to since college is currently out of the picture for me.
