Post subject:  Deja Vu

i always wondered what the purpose of Deja Vu is or what is it for or why do we get Deja Vu???

We were talking about this in spanish class and my teacher said that he thinks that in the future they make a machine that can make you travel back in time. so the future you probably went back in time to fix or change a certain chapter in their live and thats why sometimes it seems to us that the situation we are in has happened before already.

He explained it better and made a good point. So what do you think about Deja Vu???

It's like living one part of that day over again. Almost everyday, I have Deja Vu. It's so freaky.

Well apart from: "There is no Deja Vu, its a glitch in the matrix."

Its the feeling that you have re-lived a certain moment, Deja Vequ is the sensation of re-living a whole day again.

Deja Vu is a pretty cool guy. When he first joined the forums we all agreed his posts were a refreshing change of pace from the inane drivel that is the norm at Psypoke. We allowed him to get settled in with the community before approaching him with an offer for an open moderator position. Thankfully he accepted, as our only other recourse was to hire one mysterius lintaro. Mister Vu currently resides in C-Town, where he is the assistant manager of a paper company. His hobbies include kicking ass, and taking names. He is a close personal friend and we are blessed to have him here.

Deja Vequ on the other hand is an abomination.

Deja vu is a weird feeling.
I know how it happens for me,I do something ordinary,or something extraordinary,it doesnt matter because it can happen at any moment. When I think about what I am doing,I remember it somehow happening before, but how?if I never remember doing it BUT remember it happening,I usually trip out but once I get through it Im cool. now that I think about it...when I am alone, it tends to happen alot. Then I just say

“I F****** been through this s*** BEFORE!”

After it is finished I go through my life like normal.Personally,I think it is something that warns you about something potentially life changing at that moment,Good or Bad,but When it does happen I dont see how that situation can honestly affect me in any way.But then again thats my Opinion.

i've experienced deja vu many times in my dreams. i'll have a dream, and forget it, and several years later i'll be in a situation IDENTICAL to the dream i had, so i've begun to cope with it.

have you ever experienced deja entendu?

deja vu is french for "already seen"
deja entendu is french for "already heard"

it really bothers me when i'll recognize quotes and lines from movies or songs i've never seen or heard.

The last one I had was while I was playing a video game, except in the déjà vu, the host ended the game. In real life, blue team won at that exact moment. ):

There you absolutly go... Yeah I dream things years ago and then it happens years after the dream, super weird... Is there logic behind that, or is it just a concidental paradox illusion made by beings of greater extent. Whether those beings are our minds or a supreme being is what truly baffles me.

Obviously its not common in a majority of people, yet those who do get it have experienced it many many times...

Well, in know way it has not helped me in life but it is interestingly entertaining to experience. And even hearing or seeing or living in a “deja” moment can explain so called Psychics.

From what I've heard, if you have a dream and it comes true in the future it means you're on the right track in life. In other words it's said to be God's way of showing you you're doing a good job in your life so far.

It's funny you guys talk about that, because I actually found out recently, that I have precognition. I have the ability to see the future, but only when I dream. I actually remember dreaming about the Hudson Bay plane crash 2 weeks before it happened.
