Backstory first:
So years and years ago, in the days of Gold and Silver, as a gift from friends of mine in Japan I was sent three Pokemon colouring books.
I felt I was a bit too "old" and "cool" to colour at that point, and had lots of nieces and nephews, and the books were so nice, I didn't want the kids ruining them. So the obvious solution (to me anyway) was to fully scan the colouring books and print the pictures for the kids on demand.
That way I perfectly preserved the actual books, and the kids had an infinite supply of colour-fodder.
Recently, while cleaning out the files on my old PC, I found these colouring book scans, and thought perhaps, if you'ld like to spend Christmas with a packet of crayons, it might be kind of cool. And who better to appreciate Pokemon colouring than my old friends at Psypoke?
The .zip of the scans can be downloaded here:

Here's an image of Ho-oh from Book 2 as a sampler.
Give that to any small child who doesn't know what Ho-oh is supposed to look like, and I guarantee you'll get an amazing rainbow bird back.
I realise some of you might well be too "old" and "cool" for these like I was back then, but I'm definitely older now, and arguably cooler, and I'd quite happily sit down now with a bunch of these tomorrow and see if I can stay inside the lines.
Pointless extra trivia, but my scanner actually broke before I got around to doing the third book, so there could potentially be another book from me sometime in the future.
Merry Christmas Psypoke!

no one can ever be too "old" or "cool" for coloring books or crayons.
Happy Christmas!

I'm too 'old' and 'cool' for crayons.
I'm also too lazy.
Actually, I'm just lazy.
But thanks.

In the event that the hosted file in Dave's link should become unavailable, I've placed a copy of the file on our site as well.
Good to see you around Dave. Hope you enjoyed your holidays.

Hey thanks Jiggz, I'm not sure what the limitations are on my link. Most uploaders say they'll stop after 100 downloads or 7 days, but this one didn't specify.
My Christmas has been good, got to visit my family, and chill playing some games. Went to go surfing today with my nephews but we had no waves.
Some days as well, I don't even get out of my pyjamas

Even though it looks very much like you used a colouring program to do those, they're still very impressive, nice work.

I used Photoshop. I could never do backgrounds like that with crayon! Hah, but thanks.
