I don't do much new year celebrating really, I've stayed up until beyond midnight (20 to 1 now), although I've been up beyond midnight most of this holidays so bleh.

i didn't make any resolutions, not because i knew i'd never actually go through with any of them, but because i was too damn lazy to.

My new year resolution is to not make any resolutions ;o

Live life as it is, do what you think is right each time you have to make a choice but if it turns out to be wrong don't regret making that decision (:

People treat a new year as something magical and make resolutions because they think that just because they say they're going to do something, they'll do it. I don't. Come on, we made the calendar ourselves, so no other force in nature is dependant on the choices we make to it or how it changes, the calendar is simply a device to organize the days we live through so we can get on with our lives. So I have no resolution, and I don't care that we made it through one year, we're going to have to go through plenty more.

Speak for yourself. I know that when I make a resolution, I usually keep it. :
And where I live, we don't think new years are magical, so I dont know where that came from.

Life is fragile - you don't know when you will die. Don't take the fact that you lived through another year for granted.
