American citizens, I would like to say on behalf of the United Kingdom, nay, the world. Thank you.

Now that's done... Even though I'm from the UK I wanted Obama to win. Even before the voting started it was clear that he was going to win. I've been handing out victory high fives all day. Now it's only 75 days, 23 hours and 14 minutes until George W. Gump leaves office :)

Change UK to Brasil :) it didn't matter a lot to me, but I liked Obama's victory.

It's saddening, even. :(

Also, congratulations to our upcoming President. :p

In the end, I voted for Obama. Though, truth be told, I wasn't sure how I was going to vote until I was standing there, pencil in hand.

The fact that throwing away my vote meant I would actually have to write "MacGyver" or "Stephen Colbert" made simply drawing the line to vote Obama appealing enough that my laziness took over and was enough to sway my vote.

Yeah, I'm exaggerating, but not all that much. I really had no clue how I was going to vote until I was standing there. And now, to see how this plays out over the next 4 years.

I want to speak on behalf of the entire arab nation: CONGRATULATIONS!!!.
I made mansaf for the entire class (mansaf: jordan's national food), then we wore the american flag as bandana's(I told them it might be offensive, but they didn't listen) and sang the american national anthem around the playground. ( in a arabic, drunken way). we don't really car but we always love a reason to party.
thank god macain isn't in the white house, and I'm sure that obama will bring on change. but it is written in the koran that someday a "habashi" will knock down the "ka'aba". if obama is this man, mark my words, I will go to america and knock down every land mark you hold dear.
just joking

And yaaaaaay!

About 95% of the statuses of my friends on my facebook went along the lines of "<insert name> OBAMA SUCKS" or the worst was "<insert name> HITLER PROMISED CHANGE AND LOOK WHERE THAT GOT US", to which they obviously don't understand that McCain did it too, but whatever.

And lol fulton county ended up voting Democrat because its connected to Atlanta, so Alpharetta/Roswell got ruled out. Yay! ;D

But as it turns out, I guess the majority of our American voters are without brains...or souls. :(

But that is going to be good news for me in a sense.

Why?

Because now I know I'm closer to getting raptured. Take that, corrupt society.

It's a beautiful day here in the U.S.S.A!

Obama is a communitst just like Hitler, Stalin, Lenin

If any of you guys are good with WWII history you should see MANY similarities with Obama and Hitler and the events at their respective times

It would've been crazy if McCain won though, and certainly not as epic as Obama's speech.

I know exactly what you mean Sparrow. The moment McCain started to lose he immediately went to the "COMMUNIST" route. Maybe the majority have Republicans haven't noticed... But the Cold War ended nearly 17 years ago. Saying that Obama is just like Hitler, Stalin and Lenin is retarded. For one, Hitler was a Fascist not a Communist. But the most important thing to remember is... They were all **** insane.

Look at Britain and Europe for example. The majority of us have some sort of socialism in our governments but our governments don't take it to an extreme. Look at our healthcare system in Britain, the NHS. Completely publicly funded and it offers free treatment to anybody, no matter how rich or poor you are. Whereas in America, if you don't have money or insurance you get booted right out the door. Now which of those would you say is worse?

Tbh I think that personally all Republicans can get together with all the British Nationalists and build yourselves an ark.

I personally think having Obama for president is a VERY BAD idea. Not that i'm racist or anything like that but I don't believe America is ready for a black president yet, the way I see it, Obama is going to get shot down sooner or later. As you may know, the KKK is still around.

But hopefully that doesn't happen, i'm sure Obama will make a great president if THAT doesn't happen of course. =S

Of course you are. That excuse is the last resort of closet racists who want a legitimate-sounding excuse to not vote for a black man. "Well personally I like him, it's just that I don't think America is ready for a black president, so I'm voting <white guy>"

Why should anyone care what they think America is or isn't ready for? You're supposed to vote on who you think will do the best job, not who you think has the least chance of getting killed.

flaming_wuzzle, I know your a frontier brain, but still, that wasn't a very nice thing to say. daniix was just stating his opinion, he shouldn't be accused of racism for that. :?
anyway I think obama will do a good job, except the the part about revitalizing the search for osama bin ladin, seeing as I don't believe he exists in the first place.

I don't think she's racist either, but FW was just expressing his opinion, too.

And Osama is real. Where the hell did you get the idea that he wasn't...?

Who did you think they were pictures of? :/

Why would the guy who crashed the twin towers pose for pictures? :?
and I'm going to start on why I think he isn't real, because every move I make is being watched. walls have ears, I'll never eat ice cream again.

That's a Pelleas. They are an object of GQ's affection.

Unless I'm completely missing the point. <_>

If you mean Pelleas, the Sorrowful Prince and Dark Sage of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and the most awesomely w1n guy ever, yes that is what you think it is.

At least you have to play through only once, as compared to, say, unlocking Guinevere in FE6 =p

daniix, it's fine for you to think that it's a bad idea for Obama to have taken presidency, but you haven't justified your opinion (:

I would think that America is ready for a black President precisely because they have voted for him. To suggest otherwise would be suggesting that Americans are not voting wisely. After all why would they vote for someone whom they do not have faith in?

Looks like a blue-haired Alex Rowe clad in Dio's overcoat to me.

Thread rerailed from this point on.
