Oops, sorry. =

Have you ever been looking at a products container and noticed a label that said something so obvious, you laughed?

Well, discuss those labels here.

On a packet of pepperonis, there is a label that says, "Contains food product. Do not eat package."

I ripped off that label and now have it in my wallet.

In Australia, a TV show called Rove used to have a segment called "What The?" where people would send in all kinds of ridiculous packaging.

I remember once on it there was an instructions booklet for a TV remote, and in the booklet it had a picture of the remote. Below that picture it said "This image will not function as a remote. Please use remote supplied with TV."

oh GOOD ONE. GOOD. ONE. DELETE THE WHOLE FORUM WHY DON'T YOU =P

I'm amazed this hasn't been brought up yet, but I just love buying something with poorly written English. It's a sure sign that it's a quality product!

"Easy use mouse for best purposes. Carry mouse with you and plug where you go into PC or Mac."

Me smart, you dumb. BUY NOW.

Well, once I saw a picture on the internet of a sign over an escelator that said something like "WARNING: watch out for sign". That's all it said, it had no purpose other than to alert you of it being there.

But I never really saw any funny labels, but I guess that's pretty close, just think of it as a label on a sign.

You mean that one?

I found an entire site full of warning labels

On a blanket from Taiwan:
Not to be used as protection from a tornado.

On a string of Christmas lights:
For indoor or outdoor use only.

On Nytol Nighttime Sleep-Aid:
Warning: May cause drowsiness.

Baby stroller warning:
Remove child before folding.

Caution on a package of dice:
Not for human consumption.

Yeah, that one. I forgot it was just a picture...

I now remembered something funny, yay! I saw a container of food that said on the bottom "Do not turn container over", as if you didn't already.

Not for highway use.

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:

(is this a dumb blonde joke? XD)

On some frozen dinners:
Serving suggestion: defrost.

This is a type of label too I guess. I was watching "Inside America's Jails" or something to that matter on tru tv. When it shows one of the inmates, it says their name and the crime they committed. Here was one guys tag:

Jesus
Charged with conspiracy

I laughed at that for minutes on end.

This warning was on a Flavorite brand can of mixed nuts in my house:

Allergen Information: May contain nuts.

As if there's a distinct possibility that it might not contain nuts...

Bonus: 1000th post. Huzzah...

I've always like the absence of the words "are," "is," or "will" in such labels as if the company had to defend themselves from people who weren't harmed by their products but only disappointed.
