I have a petition, keep this lady or not for me. Well, recently I have gotten another therapist, and she's a whackjob. She has these "Ki enhancing" tapping things, while I have to chant some crap to myself, at the same time, poking my " chakra points or whatever. She also believes that certain stones have magical properties that clear my chakra pathways. It really sounds insane, and the poking really hurts. Next thing I know it, she's gonna tell me to use fireball jutsu and tell me to focus chakra to my feet to walk up walls. I really need everyones support, and I want to make a petition to show my mom we should get rid of her. She is coming to my house every Friday to "clear my mind of dark energies" or something like that. I'm gonna run the poll for 30 days, and I can't take a month of this, but I'll have to deal with it for now. Please, members of Psypoke! Save meeeeee!

Yes you should get rid of her quick, she scares me just imagining of her. Good idea nfield, but I am thinking that his mom will probably be near watching or something, so you gotta think more trickier then that. If you think shes not that smart you could say that it hurts or something in your legs, and when she gets higher up on your leg you could say that she touched you "in places" that you don't wanna be touched by some wierd lady and if your mom believes you she might get rid of her. Either that or just take a huge spaz on your mom and like lock yourself in the bathroom for like the hour or so hat she is there. Or say you have a wierd sickness or somethign and just stay in the bathroom like your ill or something, although it would be wierd for that to happen everytime that lady comes over. Or this petition might work, chances are it won't though(or atleast it wouldn't on my mom). Anyways good luck getting her away!

I really don't know what to say here. Her mention of "dark energies" might be her way of saying you've got an illness or emotional issue. On the other hand it may mean she's schizophrenic. Ask her if she can prove this stuff works. If it does not, it will likely throw her off.

Wow she watches Naruto WAY too much!!! Anyway get rid of her. She doesn't seem like this woman can be trusted. Call the cops or something. And didn't you say something about hurting you? Tell your parents. That should tale her away.

Pokemoniac, no the poking doesn't really hurt that much, just really irritating. I doubt she is some criminal that teaches "ninja killer poke" to people and have them use it on themselves. But it sounds freaky, and doesn't help a bit. It's just eating up our money having her come to the house every week. One therapist is enough, not one and an old naruto fan.

My father had a crazy girlfriend who was super into all this holistic medicine crap. If I remember correctly, there are five or six root cakra points: the center of your forehead, on your sternum in line with your heart, your naval, and your crotch; I can't remember the others (bottom of the neck maybe). I myself had some cakra prodding, reiki, conning, etc etc etc. Most of it's a load of ****, especially when trying to cure mental illness and terminal and congenital diseases.

Its just a load of c***. Get Rid of her imediately, not because she is doing any actual harm, but because she is actually getting paid for doing it.

Its not so much that I don't beleive in chakra or spiritual stuff like that, it is more of I don't believe in people getting paid for stuff like that.

I think it's just a little odd for her to get paid for this stuff. Luckily she was cancelled. It pushed my mom over the edge when the therapist said "Close your eyes for 5 seconds, then open them. Look up then down slowly, then look in a corner in the room and hum the happy birthday song." If you ask me, Frost, humming weird little tunes isn't very "spiritualistic". I'm not against spiritualism, but my therapist just pushes it way too far. Thank Jibbles that she's gone...

Right, everyone remember that before you ever want to learn anything, you automatically have to believe it's true. Don't ever bother to listen to or read anything if you at all disagree with its ideas or message. Vote like this too. There's only type of people who are right in this world; usually its you or the first person you ever hear talk about it. Also, the more you hear one opinion or "fact" makes it true.

I think you should get rid of her if she makes you uncomfortable. I'm sure your mother will understand, espically since she's paying for someone who, in essence, is doing jack squat for you.

The first time I'd heard of chakra was when playing Final Fantasy IV, actually. Yang uses it and he gains a bunch of HP... I think... I forget. Anyways.

For my birthday I got this "Good Night Sleep" kit. I started reading it and it was really, really spiritual. It had a little "What element are you?" quiz to take (apparently knowing these things helps you decide what you need for sleep) and SURPRISE, I'm Fire.

I read all the little flash cards that came with it, but I haven't read the book yet. It's all a little spiritual for me, but I still think I'll take some of the advice given, because anything is better than insomnia. Maybe it'll help me be a more calm, pleasant person?

It mentioned the chakra points and associated colours on one of the flash cards.



Anything is better than depression, n'est pas? So why not at least give it a shot? I hate to be corny, but "Minds are like parachutes. They work best when open." Who knows? You could actually be really into the stuff, you're just too close minded to realize any of it...
