POKEMON EMERALD TRAINER HILL

The Trainer Hill can be found just north of Mauville City, near the Winstrate Family House. It is open once you have beaten the Elite Four. The idea is to get to the top of the tower as fast as you can by battling through four levels of trainers. You'll get an item from the Trainer Hill owner depending on the time taken. Your Pokemon will not be healed in between battles, but you can use items. You are, however, able to return to the bottom floor and heal your Pokemon (and hence waste a lot of time), so it's advisable that you stock up on items at the Mart first. Your opponents' Pokemon will be the same level as the highest levelled Pokemon in your current party.

There are four modes to battling here: Normal, Variety, Unique and Expert. Most of the levels require a bit of puzzle solving to get through. While the majority of the battles will be double battles, occasionally you will get the chance to engage one of the trainers in a single battle.
