POKEMON EMERALD MATCH CALL

The Match Call works just like the phone feature from Gold, Silver and Crystal. It allows you to keep in touch with various trainers around Hoenn, and various important people like Prof. Birch and your Mom. The Match Call can be accessed from the PokeNav once you have been given it at Rustboro's Devon Building.

You'll notice the Match Call takes the place of the Trainer's Eyes option in Ruby and Sapphire. Trainers will be added to the Match Call automatically, and like the Trainer's Eyes, an icon will appear when you can rechallenge a certain trainer. Note that sometimes Gym Leaders will rechallenge you - visit the Gym & Elites page for a list of their new rosters. If you do rechallenge a Gym Leader, they will be double battles.
