Verdict: Moltres, the final and worst of the Legendary Bird threesome, is solid proof that Nintendo/Gamefreak didn't like Fire-types that much in RBY. Other than a massive Fire Blast, Moltres has nothing going for it. It can Agility up and try to wear things down with Fire Spin before finishing them off with Fire Blast or Hyper Beam, but that strategy is still screwed against Rock Pokemon. Thankfully, Moltres does eventually get better than this, but it's nothing to write home about in RBY.
