Other Options: Mimic, Hypnosis/Fire Punch/Ice Punch (Tradebacks).

Verdict: Mr. Mime isn't horrible, if you can get over the initial reaction of laughing at his appearance, but he's outmatched by every other Psychic in the game. However, since Psychics were generally invincible in RBY, even Mr. Mime gets a boost by the virtue of being a Psychic himself. Basically, Mime likes to paralyze things and wear them down with Psychic and Thunderbolt. You can Barrier up to cure Mime's awful Defense, but Seismic Toss will provide a consistent way to damage the likes of Exeggutor. With tradebacks, Mr. Mime gets even better, but, unfortunately, Hypno/Alakazam get the Punches too. It seems Mime just couldn't catch a break in RBY.
