Electric 95 100% Fire Blast Has a ~30% chance to burn the target. Fire 120 85% Sludge Has a ~30% chance to poison the target. Poison 65 100% Explosion The Defense stat of other Pokemon is halved against this attack, essentially doubling the move's base power; causes the user to faint. Normal 170 100%           Other Options: Mimic, Screech (Tradeback). Verdict: Weezing really wants to prove that he's worth your time despite being a Poison in a metagame dominated by Psychics. He has above average Special, massive Defense, and good Attack. He also learns Thunderbolt and Fire Blast to help take on threats, and he can even blow up when he knows he's beaten. Unfortunately, other than Gengar, the Poison typing is just too hard to overcome in RBY. Any Psychic could still rip Weezing apart, and the best STAB move he picks up is the 65 power Sludge. Luckily, Weezing will have another chance to shine in later generations.
