Electric N/A 100% Mimic This move is temporarily replaced by one of the target's moves; after one PP is subtracted to use this move, the replacement move will retain Mimic's remaining PP. The user can select any of the target's moves to copy until the end of the battle or until the user switches out. There are no move restrictions on Mimic other than itself and Struggle. However, in a link battle, Mimic will copy one of the target's attacks randomly. Psychic N/A N/A           Other Options: Rest, Counter, Barrier (Tradeback), Thunder/Fire/Ice Punch (Tradebacks), Amnesia (NYPC) Verdict: Hypno is an awesome Pokemon who, compared to the likes of Alakazam and friends, doesn't get the respect he deserves in RBY due to his lower Speed and lack of a recovery move. However, Hypno is a great choice because he still has great Special and much better Defense/HP than most Psychics. Picking up moves like Seismic Toss and Thunder Wave make him even better, and being a Psychic type in RBY already gives him an edge. Hypno becomes even more of a beast when playing RBY with tradeback or NYPC moves eligible: the punches give him versatility while Amnesia puts his destructive power even ahead of Alakazam. Basically, Hypno is a worthy choice for RBY, especially if you're tired of Alakazam.
