Other Options: Acid Armor, Mega Drain, other Special moves it can't use (Fire Blast, Ice Punch via tradeback, Thunderbolt)

Verdict: Muk is a cool ball of slime but has too many problems to overcome to see use in RBY. The first, of course, is that he is Poison; weakness to Psychic/Ground and lack of good STAB options hurt Muk, although Acid Armor and great HP slightly help the Ground weakness. He also has a pretty shallow Physical movepool, consisting of Normal moves and Sludge, and, while he picks up a few Special moves, he has below average Special; Muk's only notable Special move is Mega Drain, which lets him try to combat Rock/Grounds. At the very least, Body Slam and Explosion are good moves, enhanced by Screech, and Sludge is about the best he can do for STAB. But, please, save Muk for later generations, where he becomes more usable than this.
