Ice 95 100% Mimic This move is temporarily replaced by one of the target's moves; after one PP is subtracted to use this move, the replacement move will retain Mimic's remaining PP. The user can select any of the target's moves to copy until the end of the battle or until the user switches out. There are no move restrictions on Mimic other than itself and Struggle. However, in a link battle, Mimic will copy one of the target's attacks randomly. Normal N/A 100% Body Slam Has a ~30% chance to paralyze the target. Normal 85 100% Rest The user is cured of status effects (and confusion), and recovers full HP, but falls asleep for 2 turns (and then uses a third turn to wake up). Verdict: If you look closely, you might notice that Dewgong's moveset has never changed all that much in later generations from what's recommended above. This is because Nintendo, Gamefreak or SOMEBODY absolutely hates the great little sea lion. However, in RBY, Dewgong actually wasn't that bad because it had pretty good Special to work with, unlike later games where its Special Attack got nerfed. Unfortunately, STAB attacks, attempting to steal something like Thunderbolt through Mimic, and Resting off damage are the most useful tricks Dewgong has up his sleeve. But I still <3 him forever. :(
