Verdict: While Victreebel doesn't look much different than the other Grass/Poisons, he is probably the best one to use in terms of what he can do. Unlike Venusaur, Victreebel can double powder, whereas the former lacks Stun Spore. Unlike Vileplume, Victreebel picks up Wrap, Growth and a near 100% Razor Leaf CH. Victreebel can also Swords Dance and clobber away with Body Slam and Hyper Beam. The only problem is fitting his best moves onto one set; if using Razor Leaf, ignore Growth unless you REALLY want the "Defense" boost, since Razor Leaf ignores the boosted "Attack." If you hate trapping moves, you can obviously drop Wrap. While being Poison in RBY sucked, Victreebel pushes the limits of the Grass/Poison type, and is a great choice for RBY UU.
