Normal 85 100%           Other Options: Fire Blast, Counter, Meditate/Light Screen (Tradebacks) Verdict: If there is one Fighting Pokemon in RBY who can overcome his Psychic weakness to see use on the battlefield, it's probably Machamp. Unlike every other Fighter in this generation, Machamp's Special is merely "below average" as opposed to flat out "horrible," and he rounds out this feat with nice HP and Defense. He can also hurt things with his gigantic Attack: Rock Slide and Earthquake are resisted by nothing in RBY, Submission is a sold STAB move thats hurts all the Normals running around, and, for your Normal move, Body Slam can paralyze or Hyper Beam can finish things off. Fire Blast really has only one purpose: hitting Exeggutor. Machamp, if used carefully, might be one of the few Physical attackers worth your time.
