Verdict: The Psyduck line is awesome in general, but Golduck isn't an amazing battling choice in RBY without the help of the Amnesia Psyduck you can win in Pokemon Stadium. Of course, Amnesia Golduck is essentially Tobybro without the supporting moves, plus Amnesia and Psychic is, unfortunately, an illegal combination, but anything that learns Amnesia in RBY is still worth checking out. After Amnesia is in place, Golduck should have no trouble taking down anything that doesn't resist Water and Ice moves, i.e., other Waters. The third attacking slot is really filler, but Body Slam can paralyze the Starmie on the switch while Seismic Toss is always nice as well. Golduck, in general, is a cool UU Water.
