Normal N/A N/A Hyper Beam In Stadium, the user becomes uncontrollable during its next turn. Otherwise, the user attacks on turn one but it doesn't recharge on turn two if it KOs the target, breaks its Substitute or misses entirely. Normal 150 90% Body Slam Has a ~30% chance to paralyze the target. Normal 85 100% Stun Spore Paralyzes the target. Grass N/A 75% Mega Drain Restores the user's HP by 1/2 of the damage inflicted on the target. Grass 40 100% Spore Puts the target to sleep. Grass N/A 100%           Other Options: Reflect, Counter; it can Growth and Mega Drain, but Tangela does it better. Verdict: Parasect gets Spore, but its incredibly low Speed ruins it. RBY Parasect probably sets the record for "most 4x weaknesses on a single Pokemon": Fire, Flying and, because of RBY's weird type chart, Poison. In the old days, Parasect was hailed as a "Mewtwo killer" because of Leech Life, but don't be fooled. Body Slam, for example, always causes more damage, even against things who are 4x weak to Bug. Unfortunately, after squeezing in double powders and Swords Dance, it only has room for one Physical attack, hurting his offensive options. Otherwise, Parasect is cool, but just too slow and fragile to be much of a threat.
