Verdict: This isn't meant to sound sexist, as I personally prefer Nidoqueen, but she is, and probably always will be, stuck living in Nidoking's shadow. Why is that? Nidoqueen's stats have always been more defensively-aligned, while her movepool is primarily offensive, making Nidoking the better choice to utilize the clan's moves. And since Nidoqueen lacks support moves, she is stuck trying to be an inferior Nidoking with a Blizzbolt combo, Earthquake for a STAB move, and Body Slam for neutral damage and paralysis. Which is all well and good, but using Nidoqueen just gives one the feeling that Nidoking can do her job better. It's kind of sad, since Nidoqueen and Nidoking are both really cool but the only the girl version got the shaft.
