Otherwise, the user attacks on turn one but it doesn't recharge on turn two if it KOs the target, breaks its Substitute or misses entirely. Normal 150 90% Wrap The user becomes uncontrollable and attacks for 2-5 consecutive turns; the target cannot make attacks of its own during this time, but it may switch out, use items or run away. Normal 15 85% Screech Lowers the target's Defense by 2 stages. Normal N/A 85% Glare Paralyzes the target. This move works on Ghost-type Pokemon. Normal N/A 75%           Other Options: Rock Slide, Normal filler moves like Body Slam, etc. Verdict: Because of his ability to randomly pick up Earthquake, Arbok was treated slightly better than the other pure Poison Pokemon in RBY. Arbok basically has to Glare and then try to soften up opponents with Earthquake, Wrap and/or Screech before finishing them off with Hyper Beam, but this is still risky because Arbok is so fragile. Arbok looks vicious, but it's unfortunate that he is weak against two of the most dominant moves in the game, Earthquake and Psychic.
