Requirements of Affiliation Application

All applicants for affiliation should meet the following requirements:

• Your site must be a full website. Sites which are "under construction," largely unfinished, or lacking in actual content will be rejected.
• Your site must be a proper webiste - sites which are only a forum will not be accepted. An extremely large and active forum which meets all other requirements may be considered.
• Your site must be ranked on Alexa. Sites which do not rank at least 250,000 will be rejected. Sites which rank less than 100,000 and show no signs of growth towards 100,000 will be rejected.
• Your site must be well maintained and presentable. Broken images and links, as well as outdated content and other signs of minimal owner activity will be rejected. Sites with poorly designed layouts will be rejected.
• Your site must be written in English. Psypoke is an English speaking community. At this time, we are not accepting applications from sites written in other languages.
• Your site must be about Pokemon, or have Pokemon-related content. Ask yourself what your site offers to a Pokemon community. At this time, we are not seeking non-Pokemon affiliates. Non-Pokemon sites with significant content intended for Pokemon fans will be considered.
• Your site must be free of illegal content and appropriate for all ages.
• Your site must be designed in such a way that a link to Psypoke can be placed on every page.

Applicants for affiliation would do well to meet the following suggestions:

• Your site should be a unique experience to stand out from the crowd. Don't just offer the same exact content as every other site out there.
• Your site should be ranked highly on Alexa - sites with a rank over 100,000 are more likely to be accepted, and sites ranking above 50,000 are much more likely.
• Your site should be hosted on a proper web host. This includes having a registered domain name as well as a known hosting company.
