| | Things seem to be settling down for my life and my apartment is finally becoming more home-like. I want to hang up my posters sometime soon, because I'm sick of these bare white walls. I'm supposed to get one of my parents' old couches soon (they bought new ones), so my place will become even more home-y. Plus, people can sleep over then.
This morning I made waffles and shredded hash browns. I didn't cook the hash browns long enough, but they were still pretty damn tasty. Now I know for next time to cook them a bit longer.
However, I do very much miss being able to hang out with my friends willy-nilly. Even when I lived 20 miles away from them when I lived with my parents, it was still pretty easy to arrange something. Now that they're all in school (college for my best friends, other friends are younger and still in high school), it's insanely difficult to find time to hang out. I always end up having more free time on weekdays, which is when they're all in school of course. And then I usually end up working a lot on weekends. Pffft.
I want to play SNES, but mine is dead. :(
I want my Mario hat from Club Nintendo, dammit!
