i have to agree with waterpokemonmaniac. it is a great shame that politoed, or any water type pokemon failed to advance

I'd just like to point out that in this popularity contest we're running, you all voted for Grotle to advance, but not for Torchic to advance.

I'll leave you to think about what you've done.

Um... Explosion Typhlosion, Dragonite DID advance. It was #1 in its round.

man legends are lame most people rate 5 because they are the strongest and no other reason. id prefer if there were no legends because a legend will porbably win again this time too because of people that dont think about other pokemon for more then half a second :(

Greedy-Gligar, don't forget that Charizard is also over-rated, just like legends. :/

when i said it was a shame that any water type failed to advance, i ment that it was a shame that some didn't make the cut, not that any failed to advance

bleh...I gave every single legendary except Gelebi a 1, same with Charizard *secretly loves but doesn't want it to win* Go Zubat! =D

What Pokemon won PsyPoke Idol 1?

Swampert Rox, I'd like to know what HGSS information has to do with Psypoke Idol.

In regards to legends...I dislike at least half of them. I like legends such as Articuno and Deoxys (<3), mostly for looks than anything else, and that's it.

On a side note, Round 5's choices I found rather lackluster (this round got mostly 4s, but #5 I gave mostly 2s...).

By the way, Jigglypuff, not everyone voted for Grotle to advance. I gave Grotle a 1.

@swampert_rox Because it's summer and we're all on vacation. It's called Murphey's Law; nothing noteworthy happens when anyone's here. When we all take a week off, stuff happens. I'll update later after I take care of some unpacking.

@DNA Indeed, as did I. I'm simply pointing out the sad fact that Grotle, a mid-stage starter (ie, not the cute form, not the powerful and popular form, but the stage that no one likes) advanced, and yet adorable little Torchic, an actual starter and one of the cutest, did not.

@Saint_Jimmy I do believe the only legendaries I didn't give a 1 to were from the first generation. Then again, nothing from the original 151 deserves a 1 in my book. As much as I would like to vote all the legendaries 1s simply to counteract the tirade of automatic 5s they all get, I simply can't in the case of some of them. The birds get 3s, Mew got a 5, and Mewtwo gets a 2 only because it would be silly to only give 1 Kanto Pokemon a 1. Though it is tempting.

Celebii was, of course, an automatic 1; no thought required there.
