Why is that, you might ask? Well here's what happened. I went up to Ann Arbor last weekend to this store called "Get Your Game On". They sell old games along with many other games. I spent a bunch of money there like I do every other time I go there. Well while I was there, I noticed they had a copy of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for Genesis with the box on display in front of their TV. I didn't think it was for sale since it was on display so I didn't bother to ask them if they would sell it, plus I would assume they would sell it for an outrageous price. Fast forward to today where I went back up there and I mentioned it to the guy at the cash register and he said they sold it a couple days ago for $5! FIVE FRICKEN DOLLARS! Now, I don't know if anyone has been keeping up with that game lately, but it has been selling on ebay for ridiculous prices. The game alone has been going for $50. I just recently got the game for free along with a free Genesis, so I wasn't that pissed off, but dammit I could've sold the extra copy I would've had on ebay and made a ridiculous profit!

UGH!

  My room @ 3:37 pm PST (GMT -8) on May 21 2009.

is finally completely organized! :D

This has been something I have been doing on and off lately, but I finally decided to haul ass and finish everything, especially since I don't have anything better to do, being laid off for two weeks and all. I was able to really get it finished after I bought two DVD racks to pile all of my DVD games/DVD movies. I also have pictures posted up if anyone wants to check them out.

  BAAAAAAAAAAAW!!! @ 7:03 pm PST (GMT -8) on Mar 28 2009.

Yeah, so I'm just a TAD bit angry today. I went to my friend's (Crosman) house last night and I took my 360 hard drive and memory card over there since his brother brought his. I was playing some Resident Evil 5 with him to help him out since I had just about everything in the game. I had to transfer my data to my memory card so I could play. But anyway, when I got home, I got on Live and was going to play with him some more via online, and my save data wouldn't load! I panicked, since I had to recover my gamertag because it wasn't working properly, I thought it was corrupted. I kept trying and nothing! I have been pissed off because of this all day, and just recently found out this is becoming a common occurence, having happened with multiple people in the same situation already. Seriously. I am REALLY PISSED! I spent 30 hours on this game, beat it on professional by myself (which was HARD), had all the weapons, badges, and misc. other collectibles. I really hope Capcom patches this immediately, and I hope by doing so, my save file will work again because otherwise, I don't think I'd be able to play this game again!

On a positive side, I 1000'd the game before it happened.

(insert clever title here) @ 7:52 pm PST (GMT -8) on Jun 2 2008.

Been a while since I posted a blog, etc.

So what have I been up to lately? Well, I hung out with DatVu again in Indiana a couple weeks ago. Besides him, I was there with my cousin and 3 people I know from another forum. DatVu drank two bottles of wine one of the nights and he beat Castlevania 3 like 3 times for some reason. I spent half of the time there ATTEMPTING to beat Battletoads, only to fail miserably. We played A LOT of Rock Band there, and a lot of the "Rock Band" was basically kareoke night, where we were mainly singing, and sing very badly. My friend Angela though was the only one that could sing there, and she could sing really good, so she was wreaking us badly in a lot of the songs. :(

After that, Angela and Johnny (also was there), hung out at my house for a week. Mainly we just played games, a little bit of just about everything. Wednesday, we went to Cedar Point and just about walked on most of the rides. That was fun. On the weekend, we went to my cousin's house for more kareoke night. We also beat Endless Setlist on expert with a full band too. If you don't know what that is, it's where you have to beat every single career song in Rock Band in one sitting, which is 58 songs (I think. I don't feel like checking). That was nerve wreaking to say the least. I have a platinum guitarist though and one of the hardest achievements to get in Rock Band, so I'm happy.

Also, a few days ago, I beat Battletoads! For those that had the pleasure of never playing it, it is one of the hardest games ever created. If you find a list of hardest games, it's almost always on the list and usually on top of the list. I took a video of me fighting the final boss, but my batteries died while filming it! :| Also, the quality was very crappy anyway. So...what did I to to fix this? I beat the game again! Today, I beat it and made a much better video of the final boss, and the batteries didn't die this time! If you want to check it out, just click on the link: VIDEO!

Now, besides all that, my brakes went out on my car AGAIN! I can't seem to get anyone to fix it either. I know where it's leaking, but I have been trying to get at least three different people to fix it, but it just seems no one wants to help me. I guess it's a good thing I have been laid off too. Otherwise I would be screwed. It still sucks though because now I can't go anywhere and socialize. :(

GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!!!! @ 10:08 pm PST (GMT -8) on Apr 14 2008.

...zing (if you know this reference, you are awesome).

Seriously though. It's been a while since I made a blog post, so I figured I would make one. To start, my car has been acting up pretty badly lately. The front end swoops down really low and when I took it in to get it inspected today, I was suprised to find out it was in worse shape than I originally thought. To put it short, the shock springs are broke and the struts are messed up, and some belt is cracked. They did an estimate on the repairs and it came out to $1000! I only had $300 on me, so I told them I would come in another day, which I'm not doing. I know for sure I can get it done for way cheaper somewhere else, so that's what I've been doing.

Also, when I arrived at work today, I found out someone on our shift died on Saturday of a heart attack. It really shocked me because the man seemed to be in great health. He was only around 40 years old too, so that's what shocked me so much. He was a really nice guy too and friendly to everyone. Life is just cruel sometimes...

  Fun times @ 11:25 pm PST (GMT -8) on Feb 18 2008.

It's been a while since I typed up a blog, but I had a fun and eventful weekend, so I though I'd share it.

First of all, I'd like to point out that I am typing all of this out on my new computer! :O It's an HP Pavillion and it runs amazingly. Only flaw though: it's running Vista. Blegh, I know, but it's actually kinda nice. It just takes some getting used to. With 2GB of RAM and 500GB space, I don't think I'll have to worry about anything for a while. :)

That's not all I did. That just took up Friday. The rest of the weekend, I hung out with DatVu in Cleveland. The plan to visit him just kinda sprouted out of the blue. While I was in Toledo getting my computer, I suggested that we drive to Cleveland to visit DatVu, and he thought it was a good idea. The drive took two hours, but it wasn't that bad. When we arrived, we looked around for a place we can go eat. We found this one fancy ass steakhouse that brewed their own beer. I ordered the rack of lamb, which is the first time I ever had lamb, and it was delicious. After that, we went back to DatVu's house and drank some Captain Morgan's Private Stock and Killian's Irish Red. I passed out and they threw games at me.

On Sunday, I woke up feeling uneasy (I can't imagine why. It might be because I fell asleep on the floor with a very small pillow). We were told about some games exchange places around town that had a lot of old games. This caught my attention, so we went. The stores had a lot of old games. It's the first time I ever saw a Turbograffx 16 in person. My cousin found a couple Nine Inch Nails singles he's been looking for, and I bought a few games myself. The last store we went to, was how I pictured Heaven. This place had a TON of retro stuff. It's this store was a giant time machine that led you to a store in the 80's when you walked in. It was amazing. I spent about 25 minutes just in the games section. Everytime I tried to walk around to look at something else, I found myself being dragged back in by the power of my desire to be around games at all times. This place is also the first time I saw a R.O.B. in person. Unfortunately, they wouldn't sell it, and it didn't work anyway, but I got to stare at it. They also had a Q-Bert mask! OMG! They had all the Odyssey systems in the boxes! They even had an NES Top Loader in the box! It was insane!

After I spent all my money, we finally left Cleveland to head back home. For about 15 minutes, we got caught in a terrible rain storm that had me freaking out, but we managed to make it home alive.

So, over the weekend, I managed to spend $1000 and my ribs hurt. Oops.

Expert is slain @ 9:56 am PST (GMT -8) on Dec 18 2007.

I had to wake up a bit early today, so since I was up just waiting around, I played a bit of Guitar Hero 3. Now for a while, I had expert practically done. All I had to do was beat Lou, which I was really close at doing a few times, but lost after I was supposed to finish him because I was at blinking red when I got there. Anyway, I finally beat him! So I'm done with expert.

All I have to do now is 5 star all the songs on expert, which I don't plan on doing anytime soon. My progress on it though is pretty good. I have 13 songs left to 5 star, and some of them I'm close to achieving. In case anyone is wondering too, I 5 starred everything on hard (not including bonus tracks), so I got the special guitar for that, and it's pretty hip.

That's all I got, really. I have to leave for work in 15 minutes, in the ton of snow that God threw at us in a fit of rage on Saturday night. As long as my breaks don't lock up again, I think I'll live. Thank God there's only 4 more days of work this week (well 3, since I'm almost certain we won't be working on Friday).

My wrist is throbbing! @ 1:28 am PST (GMT -8) on Nov 29 2007.

I don't know why I torture myself so...

I've been playing Guitar Hero 3 tonight, and pretty much wrecking it. I finally 5 starred Before I Forget on hard, so that leaves only 3 more songs for me to 5 star. I'm getting really close to 5 starring Raining Blood, and I should have no problem 5 starring One when I get the timing right on the strumming for the faster part of the song.

Also, I finally beat Lou on hard! I have been trying very hard to beat him, and finally managed to do it. I got very lucky though. That means though I only have expert to finish, which isn't that far away. I only need to beat Raining Blood and One (which are a lot harder on expert than hard) then beat Lou, then I will pretty much be done, besides 5 starring expert, which I don't expect to do for a long time.

It would've been only One I needed to beat, but Raining Blood decided it wasn't ready for me to beat it yet. I got to the VERY END (literally) twice on that song, and failed. ugh...

  Happy Thanksgiving! @ 10:43 pm PST (GMT -8) on Nov 21 2007.

Since it's past midnight, it's technically Thanksgiving.

Now that that's out of the way, it's been an interesting week for me so far. I only worked Monday and Tuesday. My supervisor called me this morning and told me not to bother coming in because they were only running a couple of presses. So that's cool, I guess.

Since I bought Super Mario Galaxy, I've been playing the heck out of it. I already got 120 stars and am starting on the "second quest". It's not really a second quest, but I don't want to say anything as to spoil it for anyone looking to buy it or are already playing through it. I will say though, it is an amazing game, and definately worth buying and according to Game Rankings, it's the highest ranking game of all time.

I played a little bit of Guitar Hero 3 again tonight. I FINALLY 5 starred 3's & 7's on hard, which leaves me with only 4 more songs to 5 star on hard, which is Before I Forget, Knights of Cydonia, Raining Blood, and One.

Since I wasn't planning on going anywhere on Black Friday, I didn't save up much money, which was a bad idea, because my cousin's friend I guess is going and he is serious business when it comes to Black Friday, so we're going up there with him around 5pm tomorrow. That should be interesting. At least I'll get a laptop out of the deal.

Shaping Up My Blog @ 3:18 am PST (GMT -8) on Nov 18 2007.

lol I never thought I would see the day that I would be working on a blog, but it's getting cold in Hell (Mi), so I guess it makes sense.

Anyway, about my week. It was both good and bad. I got flexed out of work Thursday and Friday because they were only running a couple presses, so my check is going to be crappy. On the plus side of this week, I bought Super Mario Galaxy, which is an amazing game. I finally put Guitar Hero 3 on hiatus to play this game.

I finally finished my Pokedex on Pearl a few days ago, so I need to readjust what I'm going to level up while I'm on break at work. I decided on working on leveling up some Linoons so I can get some good items from Pickup. I also need to build my money back up since I just bought a gorgeous royal ribbon for my Slowking, which cost a very steep 999,999.

The bad, well, someone decided it was necessary to steal the radio out of my truck (the truck doesn't run, but I never got a chance to take the radio out). Whoever did it also took my back speakers too, AND they ripped off my dashboard face, so it's all messed up. Bunch of savages in this town...
