Because Bagon desires to become a flying Salamence, Michelle challenges Ash to a battle to gain experience. Despite Michelle's electronic goggles, Pikachu's defeats Bagon with Iron Tail; an attack that Pikachu learned because Ash believed in him. Michelle realizes that she must believe in her Pokémon, and after Bagon and Treecko rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket, Bagon evolves. |

| 322 | Candid Camerupt! Who's that Pokemon? Ponyta Trainer's Choice: Nuzleaf > Camerupt Rescued from the desert by the Winstrate family, the gang agrees to a 4 on 4 battle with the family to show their thanks: Brock's Mudkip loses to Victor's Zigzagoon, but May's Beautifly beats Victoria's Roselia and Max's Corphish beats Vivi's Marill. Vicky's Camerupt goes Eruption-crazy when hit in the face by Iron Tail, but Vito Winstrate returns and uses his Alakazam to calm Camerupt and save Pikachu from Team Rocket. With some words from Vicky, Vito gets the strength to pursue his goals. |
| 323 | I Feel Skitty! Who's that Pokemon? Kangaskhan Trainer's Choice: Weezing > Silcoon May finds a tired Skitty in the grass and wants to help the cute Pokémon and then catch it. Brock brings the group to Eliza, a Pokémon Aromatherapist that uses her scents to restore Skitty's health but while stealing Eliza's fragrances, Team Rocket accidently swipe Skitty as well. Eliza's Oddish uses Sweet Scent to lure Team Rocket out of hiding and Meowth helps set Skitty free from the hard life of a Rocket. After Beautifly and Pikachu make quick work of Team Rocket, May catches Skitty. |
| 324 | Zigzag Zangoose! Who's that Pokemon? Cloyster Trainer's Choice: Dewgong > Ninjask The gang meets up with their old buddy Nicolai, who has added a Zangoose to his team since we last saw him. When Team Rocket appear, Seviper doesn't take too kindly to its sworn rival and gets the upper hand in battle with Zangoose. As Zangoose heals, Ash teaches Nicolai that he needs to be aware of his opponent's tactics to be successful and helps him practice. When Jesse and Seviper return, Nicolai follows Ash's advice and Zangoose adopts a zig zag run from Skitty to defeat its rival. |

Snorlax Trainer's Choice: Lotad >> Lombre The group meet a young boy named Maxx that looks bizarrely similar to Max, but the twin-like boys argue over anything, especially Maxx's friend Surskit. Team Rocket try to catch Surskit, but when May's Skitty messes up Jesse's hair, she goes beserk and sends the group flying. Stuck together, Max and Maxx admit their jealousies toward each other and become friends. As the group regathers, Maxx uses his Surskit to defeat Team Rocket as Max hopes to find his own favorite Pokémon. |
| 326 | Pros and Con Artists Who's that Pokemon? Scyther Trainer's Choice: Geodude > Magneton Arriving to Fallarbor Hall, May meets Grace, a Coordinator tells May that the best Coordinator has a strong connection to their Pokémon; after Roselia beats Ash's Taillow in battle, Drew shares the same advice. Team Rocket, meanwhile, has started selling fake PokéBlocks to gullible Coordinators, but Grace soon exposes them as con artists with her Medicham. When May realizes that she must have confidence in Beautifly's abilities, the Pokémon joins Medicham to defeat Team Rocket. |

| 329 | Game Winning Assist Who's that Pokemon? Exeggcute Trainer's Choice: Combusken > Kirlia Out of the Fiery Path, the group come across a Numel ranch run by a woman named Julie. Wanting to put Skitty's energy to good use, May battles one of Julie's Numel and learns of Skitty's useful Assist technique. Team Rocket soon attack the ranch and round up May, Skitty and all of the Numel in their Numel Mecha. Despite the Rockets' sprinkler systems, Skitty's Ember via Assist heats up the Numels' inner volcanos enough for them to burn themselves out of the Mecha to stop Team Rocket. |
| 330 | Fight for the Meteorite Who's that Pokemon? Wartortle Trainer's Choice: Meditite >> Medicham Eager to get to Lavaridge, the group grabs a lift to help climb Mt. Chimney, but when Teams Aqua and Magma attack in search of a meteorite, the power is killed. Ash leaves to get help and finds the meteorite's possessor, Professor Cosmo. Team Magma steals the meteorite and begins extracting its power to trigger a volcanic eruption, but as Ash distracts them, Cosmo tosses the meteorite into the lava. Both Teams Aqua and Magma abandon operations as Ash looks forward to his Gym Battle. |

| 337 | Disaster of Disguise Who's that Pokemon? Hitmonchan Trainer's Choice: Chinchou > Crawdaunt Drew meets a trainer known as "The Phantom," and is forced to drop out of the Verdanturf Contest when his Dusclops defeats Roselia. After Dusclops nearly beats Pikachu as well, we soon learn "The Phantom," is the alias of ayoung boy named Timmy whose mother opposes Pokémon. As Timmy's mother becomes suspicious about Phantom's identity, the trainers and Timmy's father fool her by having Brock fill in. His father agreeing, Timmy will eagerly enter the Contest with May the next day. |
| 338 | Disguise Da Limit Who's that Pokemon? Magnemite Trainer's Choice: Spheal > Wooper Evading his mother, Timmy joins the Verdanturf Contest along with May and Jesse. Dustox's Poison Sting/Psybeam, Dusclops' Psychic/Will-o-Wisp and Skitty's juggling appeal well enough for each to advance. Next, Dusclops barely beats Dustox (and a Rocket attack) while Skitty beats Wartortle. As May believes in it, Skitty uses some lucky Assists and a successful Blizzard to beat Dusclops and win May a second Ribbon. Seeing his determination, Timmy's mother happily lets him train Pokémon. |
| 339 | Take the Lombre Home Who's that Pokemon? Diglett Trainer's Choice: Camerupt > Roselia In search of a drink, the group stops in a nearby town that has been struck by a drought. Brock's Lotad evolves and the villagers believe Lombre's the Water Lord that will defeat Solrock (believed to cause the drought) and save the town by Rain Dancing. One of the younger women in town, Mary, uses her logical thoughts to discover Team Rocket has drained the town's water supply to make money. The town then makes Solrock their protector for saving the town and beating the Rockets. |
| 340 | True Blue Swablu Who's that Pokemon? Eevee Trainer's Choice: Skitty >> Delcatty The group finds a young Swablu left injured after a storm and bring it to Forest Ranger Morita for assistance. Swablu gains a speedy recovery as May bandages it up and stays up watching it nightly. When Swablu is fully healed, another problem arises: it is now afraid to fly. Despite Max's "magic powder," Swablu regains the confidence to fly for May after being trapped on Team Rocket's enflamed balloon. As May is about to capture Swablu, its family returns, forcing a tearful parting. |
| 341 | Gulpin it Down Who's that Pokemon? Magmar Trainer's Choice: Treecko > Larvitar A city is put into a state of emergency due to a hungry group of approaching Gulpin. The group meets Professor Jacuzzi, a studier of Gulpin who successfully uses his giant PokéBlock to lure the pack away from the city's food center. When the Gulpin return, Jacuzzi uses a subatomic particle launcher to safely send the Gulpin flying. Treecko and the final Gulpin overload the generator and become giant, but Treecko holds off Gulpin long enough for Jacuzzi to capture it in a Heavy Ball. |
